I'm hoping we don't get anything cause we have to go to Amarillo Texas tomorrow and its a 3 hour drive just one way. Its for my husband's diabetic doctor's appointment. morning Darci, rain on the way for us. Here we go again. It's already cold and I bet even colder up your way. Finishing up the UNdecorating today and it's always a little sad but good to get it tucked out of the way too. By that I mean all the storage boxes taking up space in our spare room. Middle of the week is here, sort of.  Wednesday and it is still winter.  I know, I have several months to go.  

At least it is a new year.  But the last year is gone.  Sometimes we just don't realize what new means.  

The wind is so icy and it just cuts right through you.  Even the snowman is not very happy.  

You will NOT see me outside on a sled.  In fact, if there is snow on the ground, you probably won't see me outside at all.  

The snowman or Rbt will have to bring the mail inside to me.  Now I am off to turn the electric heater on so don't get too close or you might melt.

 Was just wondering what you made for your 'good luck' New Years Day meal.

We made a pork roast, kielbasa, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. I cook the meat right in with the sauerkraut, then put it over the mashed potatoes. That's the Yankee version good luck meal for New Years. I know people from the south have a different meal. I hear a lot about black eyed beans/peas. I always wondered where those good luck tales come from. Must be old myths from long ago. When you lived in Erie, do you remember having the sauerkraut meal?.. Seems strange being Wednesday already. Doesn't feel like Wednesday. Feels like we're missing a day somewhere.. Good night, Darci.. *hugs*  Darlene

Busy Tuesday..hope to slow down tomorrow. I think next week I'll be back in track. Today seemed like Monday again. Laundry is done 🙂

No one could ask more than what the people of the site have given. Bravery, compassion and strength of character. But I think what I'll miss most is the fun when it is over. The times we joked together, the drama on the site of who is seeing who. I'll remember the laughter more than anything. Although someday I will not be with you for the rest of the journey, I know that you'll be the same steadfast members of the site. I wish you a safe and speedy journey. My thoughts will be with you when I no longer type. SPOILER ALERT: this is not a resignation nor an obituary. Just a good thought for the new year.

 Tuesday is always a good day... Tacos on Tuesday are our favorite.  

Also to see the sun coming up and the beautiful colors it creates each morning just seems to start the day off right.  

I love looking up because every minute of every day the sky is completely different and you won't see it like that again, unless you take a picture.  

Keep on asking Him for your desires because you never know when He will grant you your wish.  His Blessings will pour down on you when you least expect it.  Be sure to say Thank You!
