Good day.  It is about 43° heading for 49° later today.  Besides the usual church on Saturday afternoon, I shall have to make a run to the store for bananas.  I have just eaten my last banana in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE.  Outside of that commotion, I am still deciding on what I shall get for Christmas dinner.  One of the stores has a seafood sale and maybe I will attack that.  It really doesn't matter as I shall be dining alone.  I have been hearing all kinds of horror stories about people having several people over for dinner on Christmas.  Have a good day.  Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Friday is for the Dogs and it will soon be Christmas.  Are all your pets ready for their presents?  

Is this a real dog or is it a stuffed animal?  It does look a lot like one of our dogs.  So cute!  

Maybe you are getting a new puppy for Christmas.  Talk about cute!  There is nothing like a baby.  

And yet, there is nothing like the unconditional love of the old family pet that is always happy to see you with lots of kisses.  

Especially when they know in their heart that you are Santa to them every day of the year.  My hubby is the "Snackie Man."  However, I have been known to sneak a bite of what I am eating  to them from time to time!

Good afternoon to you. Its a cloudy and rainy afternoon here. And happy first day of Winter. I don't want any snow. I can deal with rain as long as it doesn't get cold enough to freeze. I packed our clothes this morning and other things we needed for the weekend. We are leaving tomorrow morning to spend it with our daughter Samantha and her husband. We will be back here sometime Monday. Not much else going on. Got all my housework done, so I'm just going to sit down and watch some tv here soon. Sunny skies and a bit warmer..a lazy day here. David is in vacation till Jan 2..looking forward to the down time and getting some things done around the house. Next week, we pay property tax bill and flood insurance..joy joy..Dixie got some swing time in earlier today..now she's back inside, while we wait on the mailman 🎄🧑‍🎄🧑‍🎄
