Hello Darci, it was a soggy weekend for us too. Rain began Sat. afternoon. Thankfully we did not get as much this time and no bad winds. Last weekend I had Christmas decorations flying around my yard. Have to do a little more baking this week. SOMEONE ate more than they should have of the Christmas crack. lol. Going to make a white chocolate batch I think. Have a good new week. huggies, Beth
Monday is a wonderful day! Did you buy the presents or wrap the presents? I know you probably did both.
I believe in Santa but only after at least 2 cups of coffee. Have you ever dressed up as Santa Clause?
Years ago, we would dress up for the Live Nativity for our church. It was always a fun time.
The month of December and Christmas is the best time of year for doing all kinds of things and making lots of memories.
I wore an elf hat just a week or two ago at our Ed Jones Christmas Dinner and got hugs from some of our clients. Whatever you do this week, share your love with others.
Good morning. Christmas week. It is 29* heading down to 15* as the day proceeds. Plan of action, City Hall, property tax. I stuck my head out when I saw some white stuff on the road to see if it was a mirage and it feels cold out. It almost makes me want to rethink the City Hall thing and pay online. And it gives me a chance to see real people with voices not generated by artificial means. And since I do not get the exercise in, it is a mental gymnastics if you will. And of course, it is the banana song, Yes We Have No Bananas by Louis Prima. Outside of this, I await the big day....... my dental appointment in May. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
13 days until Christmas! I always seem to want it to hurry and get here but I'm never quite ready for it to leave. My snowman collection is waiting patiently to be my decor once Christmas things are packed away. Keeps the house from looking/feeling sad after all the colorful, fun holiday things are gone. Do you do any wintry decorating? Thank you for the compliment on my page, Jackie.

That is a great idea to do when Christmas is over 🙂 I actually have some snowmen decor, pictures, figurines, kitchen towels etc around the house and some I leave all year round. They make me smile and being in NY they are not too out of place 😉 🎄 I am sure your snowman collection is just lovely ⛄️
What a wet, cold, rainy Sunday. It was cleaning day since we weee out of town yesterday. I got lots done. Monday I'll need to do a few errands. This month is flying by too fast. Need to do some baking soon. Enjoy the new week 🎄🧑🎄🎄
Good Evening Darci yes Ceil & I Had a restful Sunday my cold finally broke and I am feeling a lot better It's a rainy day here too we didn't do much of anything today just watched TV and played games on our phones and now I'm answering our messages here while Ceil is in the bedroom watching "The Love Boat" and after I'm finished on the computer I'll join Ceil in the bedroom ands we'll watch the 6:00 news ands after the news I'll take my shower and after I dry off I'll join Ceil in the bedroom and we'll watch TV until we're ready to go to bed.
I hope you have had a blessed Sunday. Looks like the rain is winding down and the new weeks looks like it will be full of sunshine!
This picture reminds me of when my girls were little and we did an advent. I still have it and the book we read from each night. It helped to teach them the true meaning of Christmas. I will have to get new candles next year and start doing it with my grandsons. that will be so special. I love that both my girls have a nativity and are teaching their kids about the true meaning of Christmas.
Enjoy this coming week as we get closer to Christmas! Hugs,Rhonda
Hope you have a most restful Sunday as we prepare for this final week before Christmas. It is a rainy, cool day for me and I see an afternoon of football and a possible nap in the cards. Whatever you may be doing, enjoy the day.
Good Morning! Next Sunday will be Christmas Eve. Can you believe it?
Will your house smell good every day between now and Christmas? I love the smell of my cinnamon essential oils!!!
Are they kids swinging from the wreaths yet? Or are they asking to open the wrapped presents under the tree?
Are your cards in the mail? I actually made mine this year with help from my friend Pam in Australia who sent me some giraffe designs. You should have seen me trying to get the paper in the copy machine the right direction to print it as a fold over card.
Are you getting snow already or do you want it to snow? I hope you get your wish and have lots of fun playing in it and making memories!
