Good Morning! Next Sunday will be Christmas Eve. Can you believe it?
Will your house smell good every day between now and Christmas? I love the smell of my cinnamon essential oils!!!
Are they kids swinging from the wreaths yet? Or are they asking to open the wrapped presents under the tree?
Are your cards in the mail? I actually made mine this year with help from my friend Pam in Australia who sent me some giraffe designs. You should have seen me trying to get the paper in the copy machine the right direction to print it as a fold over card.
Are you getting snow already or do you want it to snow? I hope you get your wish and have lots of fun playing in it and making memories!
Good morning. This is something I like to call GAUDETE SUNDAY. It is a term used in my colony and Israel after Christ so some people are not old enough to remember it. 38* heading for 41* later. I am expecting fog the likes of Sherlock Holmes and London. I speak of the city, not Julie. Of course, since I no longer have my early morning protocol it makes no difference. I will be walking more in the light of day once I can wear a glove and drink coffee, though the coffee has nothing to do with anything. Getting close to Christmas for those of you who have a calendar, and I suppose even if you do not. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
How did the visit go for you on Saturday? How old is Dave's mom? That's so disheartening when elederly people get that way. It must be difficult speaking to someone who doesn't remember who you are. My grandmother passed away 94 and she had her faculties right up until the end. She was always a sassy lady, but her mind was sharp. Everyone's brain ages differently.
Do you still like to send out Christmas cards? I like to send and receive cards. Don't send near as many as I use to. I remember the days when I sent out 30 to 40 cards. Over the years I cut back a lot. Now I'm down to sending 10 or 12. Seems like the postal service is taking longer than ususal to get the cards delivered. There's one person who mailed a card to me a week ago Friday and I still have not received it. I think that one has been lost in the mail. No reason why it should take this long..
Hope you have a peaceful Sunday, Darci .. Christmas Blessings *hugs* Darlene
Hi there, How has your weekend been so far? It's been mostly cloudy here and the rain is moving in later after dark and most of the day tomorrow. It's to cold to do much outside anyway!
Later I plan to watch It's a Wonderful life. I like to watch it closer to Christmas.
I hope you have great night. Take care, Hugs,Rhonda
Good morning on this Saturday in Advent. Some rain but no snow so not complaining. Topping off at 42*. One is hoping the gifts are still wrapped and intact. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a STUPENDOUSLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SATISFYING WEEKEND, my friend...
It's almost the weekend so I think we can hang in there, right? 11 days until Christmas. I've been listening to North Pole Radio on Iheart and singing and dancing around....much to poor Dave's dismay, I'm sure. LOL I can't do anything in my craft room/library because that's where I have gifts wrapped and stored. Our dog, Dharma, would love nothing more than to shred every single package so they can't go under the tree until Christmas morning before the kids all get here. Hope your Thursday is a great one, dear Tarlia!!
~Darci~
Well! Sounds like North Pole Radio on "Iheart" is jolly fine with some inspiring music to dance to and why not?! [ No doubt Dave secretly wishes he could just join in, LOL.] It's funny how .. involved pets can become in ye ol Cmas tree and prezzies! LOL. Meanwhile. . . . it's the weekend so, dear Darci; you must dance to your heart's content!! Have a fun weekend see you next time. *Hugs* Tarlia
Happy Friday! The week is about over and here it is time for another weekend already. Looks like Sunday will be a very rainy day here. it will be a good weekend to stay in and catch up on things. Thats fun you do wintery decorations too. I like to get everything back to normal after Christmas but I do like to keep my buffalo plaid things out for awhile, usually through Valentines :) Have a great weekend! Hugs,Rhonda
