Sitting on the beach under an umbrella with a good book, a thermos full of iced tea, and a warm ocean breeze sounds like where I need to be today. Sadly, I will be doing housework instead. Good day to you & hope your enjoying the nice HOT weather. Sure does keep the ac going good this time of year. Glad I got the yard work done early the other day before it got hotter . Yesterday was 98 with heat index 109 & hotter than that in other areas of the country. Enjoy the rest of the week & take care......George

Here we are with another Monday on our plate. If weekends are the dessert of life, surely Mondays are the Brussels sprouts. Blech! HAHA We had a great weekend, albeit, a scorching one. Today is more of the same and STILL waiting for rain. Our current feels-like temperature is 100*. Summer sometimes likes to show itself in a rather brutal way. Such a bully. Enjoy this wonderful day, no matter the weather or what you're doing. I'll do the same on my end and we will both be happy!

I hope your Sunday is relaxing and peaceful. A new week is coming so we need to rest up. Still waiting for rain down here, so we continue to water things by hand if we want them to survive. Dew points into the mid 70s yesterday made it so miserable. I am thankful every day for a cool home with a/c so we can escape the heat and be comfortable. Many aren't that fortunate. Oh, we picked peaches from our own tree and I made cobbler last evening that was just sinful. Even Dave liked it and he doesn't like cooked peaches. Success!
