I don't go to the movies much but watch them on DVD. I love Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, Dirty Dancing, Ghost, so many more. I watch disney movies with the grandchildren. I like comedys, romantic & drama...no horror movies for me.

I love music...oldies, country, soft rock, gospel,
jazz, techno etc. I hate rap & heavy metal.

BOOKS
Mostly mysteries...James Patterson, John Grisham,...loved the Left Behind Series...others as well... My Bible.....I love reading & could sit for hours doing that. I read Readers Diest, Country & Country Extra magazines.

I've known Mellie for 30 some years. She is one of my best friends and we love to SHOP. Our thing is to shop the malls & then go have a nice lunch together. Our husbands used to work together years ago. We just love to talk about our lives & families. She's a wonderful friend.

Hello dear friends, I have been a busy bee this past month and will be for the next couple months. Between traveling and babysitting grandchildren it has been hard to keep up with NOTH. I plan on doing better about keeping up but you know how that goes...lol. Love you all.

ABOUT ME
I'm fairly quiet and easy to get along with. I married my high school sweetheart 39 years ago. We lived in Germany for a couple years as he was in the army. We have 1 girl (37) & 3 boys (31)&(30)& (28) Also 10 grandchildren, age 16 down to 6 months. One grandson died at birth.
Hubby & I owned & operated a mom & pop convenience store for 19 years before closing in '97. Hubby had another job and I did the running of the store.It was an old country store & did fairly well most of the time. Hubby retired 6 yrs ago & I got a part time job because I was bored. Before the store I worked for an insurance company. I have been the secretary for my Sunday School for the past 10 years.
I was raised in a rural setting on a dairy farm. I still live in a rural area to this day. My wonderful parents adopted me as a baby. Now they are both gone and I miss them a lot. My mom told me I had a half sister out there somewhere but we had no luck finding her since my state has sealed records. Maybe some day I will find her. I have 2 brothers older than me.

Animals, especially horses. My family & friends, reading, crocheting, traveling, photography & gardening. Playing with my grandchildren & shopping.
snobs..liars & cheaters..anyone who mistreats children & animals & the elderly...waiting in long lines at the checkout..to name a few. Snakes & deep water.

You are a quick "grabber", lol. I didn't even know it was up yet. Sonjia wants me to do a tutorial on this but I wouldn't have a lot of time to do it and it will soon be St. Patrick's Day. Maybe next year I'll get one up. I should think ahead...like do an Easter one now maybe.
We are having a sunny sort of overcast at times day today. I talk about like the weather man, LOL. I wish it would rain and take the rest of the snow. Our front yard is about bare and the side yard is full of snow yet.
