I am having a very good Thursday and hope you are, too. I've grocery shopped and done some cleaning. I believe Dave and I are finished with yard work now until spring. He transplanted the last plant we had to move and now I guess everything will rest for a few months. They are calling for snow here this weekend and I must admit that I'm hopeful we get it. I can't remember having snow this early here. But then I can't remember what I walked from one room to the other for so..... Nanc, you are so welcome for the card. I just love that we are friends!

Hi Nancy, greetings from frosty Florida this morning! You won't hear me complain about the cold though. I love it and it's very welcome this time of year. I've been busy with holiday preps and have a lot more to do so I better scoot. Have a wonderful Thursday!
It is a beautiful, chilly Wednesday and we have spent much of the day outside. Getting the back yard cleaned up for winter. Dave has a fire going in our burn barrel for fallen branches, dead plants, etc. and we have been enjoying the fresh air. With a wet weekend on tap, we wanted to get things done out back beforehand. How is your day and what are you up to? Nancy, what fun you and the girls will have with Emma home and decorating sugar cookies! Sounds perfect. On the 15th, I will be going over to Melanie's and several of us women will be making things with essential oils. Going to make bath salts, linen spray, and something else I can't recall. My mom and sister are invited, Lindy and Jenny, too. And I think some of Mel's friends. It will be fun. We pay $10 and get to make and take 3 things home. Do you like essential oils? Do you have a diffuser? Young Living has an oil blend called Christmas Spirit and it is wonderful. I'm hooked on it for the holiday season.

It's a new week and I hope it's a good one for us both. It's sure starting out well. Beautiful day here. Mid 60s and sunshine off and on. I've blown and swept off the porches and walkways, done laundry, vacuumed....must be the nice weather has inspired me. I'll take it when I get it. What a gray, icky Sunday morning it is here. But I will enjoy an afternoon of football and relaxing and not give the weather a second thought. Hope you can relax today, too! Nancy, we ended up not watching a movie yesterday. We watched the Alabama/Georgia game instead. I should have never let Dave have the remote. LOL HAHAHAHAHA
Rain? Check. Mud? Check. Wet dog smell? Oh yeah. But is it the weekend? You betcha. So all is right with the world. I just finished wrapping ALL our Christmas gifts. I will be hunched over for a week but at least the gifts are wrapped. Except for one. That I haven't bought yet. For our gift exchange game we all play Christmas afternoon. How is your weekend so far? I'm pretty sure I can convince Dave to watch a Christmas movie with me in a bit. I mean, what else is he going to do on this nasty, wet day? hehe Nancy, it is at least warmer here today. Not a bone chilling rain, thankfully. Tomorrow we are to reach 73*!! Crazy!
