It is a day totally different from yesterday here. Cooler and oodles of sunshine! Dave's been doing stuff outside and I've been doing some housework and laundry. I think at the holidays, housework should happen magically (little elves in maid uniforms?) so we can just sit back and look at the pretties, watch Christmas movies, and drink hot chocolate. Housework puts a temporary damper on my holiday spirit, darn it! LOL Hope your day is going great. One week until Christmas!
It has been a perfectly beautiful Sunday for me. How about your day? Our trip to visit Dave's mom went well. For an 88 year old woman with dementia, she's doing as well as we can expect. We took her a silk poinsettia b/c she needed some holiday-ness in her apartment and she doesn't have to take care of a silk plant. Today, we ran to Lowe's for some lights for our porch railing. Can't wait to see how they look when they come on at dusk. This next week, I MUST do some serious wrapping.
That's great news on your wife's progress. Very windy here, and yesterday brought close to 2" of rain. Will dry out for two days, more rain will move in on Tuesday. Have a safe and blessed weekend George.
Howdy happy weekend & wishing you a good one. Pleasant warm today so will get some steaks grilled out. wife is doing good & able to get up & down the stairs one step at a time, not using a walker or cane. Will just take time to be fully functional. Have a great week......George
