My dearest Darci, Perhaps you were right! I decided to run the small errands when it stopped snowing. I did get part of Christmas done, but since it bothers my back, I guess I will be doing that over the next couple days, between other things! Just couldn't get it all done!

It is a beautiful Thursday for me, how about you? Sunshine and perfect temps for nearly December. I have just refilled the bird feeders and while I was out there, the birds were just fussing at me. As if to say, "hey, lady, hurry up". Now they are happy once again and I get to be entertained by the birds and squirrels from my living room windows. Hope your day is going great. Our beloved weekend is almost here. Nanc, what are you doing sitting at your computer when you've got a whole plateful of things to do by the weekend? Get off of here and get to work. Just call me Darci Drill Sargaent!!
So far I have had a lovely but busy day. Looked at my emails on my computer and answered them, then I took a nice shower and washed my hair. Got dressed and David took me to lunch. At 2PM I drove out to my CVS Store to pick up a prescription. Now I'm ready to do some reading. I've been reading in this book all week from time to time and am only about 1/2 way thru with it.

Wishing you a Disney Day from here in Florida in the Disney area. I've been very busy as I just brought my husband home from the hospital yesterday .It's chilly here in Florida the last few days , but going back into the 80's again soon. Peace, love and big hugs, Yvette xoxo
Well, it's snowing again so plans have changed. Christmas decorations are going up and errands put off til tomorrow. They say snow is melting and freezing to surfaces - not good! Darc, I have 3 days to get done all I want done by Sunday! Decorations, errands, laundry, and food for Sunday's family gathering are on the agenda. Since I didn't get up too early this morning, I've got to get moving! Have a fun day fa-la-la-ing : ) Hugs, Nancy
See I'm getting ready. Over the weekend I'll start into pulling out the decorations.. Must get out my snailmail cards to go. Mostly now I use email cards. Some of them are so nice and they save paper too.
Hi Darci, your Christmas page is so pretty. I agree about the Christmas cards. It's fewer each year. I send out about 25 and usually get 12 back or so. People just don't go to the trouble anymore. I also blame social media. It's not really a substitute but sadly people think it is. Anyway it's something I enjoy and I will continue to do it. Today was busy tucking away pumpkins and scarecrows and takig out Santas and snowmen. Nice and cold here too so it's feeling more Christmasey. Have a wonderful evening, friend!
A nice day to you. Snow is falling and I have a smile on my face just seeing it come down. What a breathtaking site!
Some of the grandsons are coming over with Mommy in afew days to help Grammie decorate the Christmas tree. We will have a glorious time and of course Grammie will have hot chocolate with marshmallows for them to enjoy along with some Christmas cookies.
It is always such a nice thought to remember to take time to be kind. Smiles Gloria
IT WAS ONLY 17 THIS MORNING. NOW ITS 28. BRRRRRRR. A LOT OF PEOPLE AROUND HERE ARE STILL WITHOUT POWER FROM THE STORM MONDAY. NO HEAT FOR THREE DAYS NOW. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR THEM. IT'S COLD. WE JUST HAD A SERVICEMAN OUT FOR OUT DRINKING WATER SYSTEM. I'M IN SHOCK. HE CHARGED US $310.69 FOR REPAIRS. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER SYSTEM FROM THESE PEOPLE. (CULLIGAN MAN). THAT IS WAY TO MUCH MONEY TO CHANGE THE FILTERS AND A SWITCH. WELL AT LEAST WE HAVE DRINKING WATER NOW. ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR WEEK. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

It is a sunny, cold Wednesday at my house. Still in the 30s. How is your day going? I will do my usual daily stuff and then, later, watch another Christmas movie. I just love them. Doesn't matter to me that the storyline is basically the same in every one; I just like the festive, feel-good-ness they give me. Plus I'm a rather sappy soul. Enjoy your day and get out your sled as we begin our coast to the weekend! The first weekend in a new month.
Good afternoon Darci...not much going on in my neck of Belmont..slept in, so got a late start here. Only had one errand to run mid morning, then the laundry began a few hours ago. Dixie and I have been watching the world go by through the windows. Getting ready to start supper within the half hour. My cube steak from last night was consumed, except one piece..which I had for lunch. Think tonight’s exciting dish will be fish sticks and fries, leftover baked beans..and a salad for me. Tomorrow, taking neighbor to her chiropractor appt. Friday, is anyone’s guess..but the week is fading fast. I have only watched one Christmas movie. A Lifetime movie that aired last Friday called Every Other Holiday..though we don’t have cable, so I snagged it free from Kodi a few days ago..commercial free. It starred Dee Wallace and country singer Jimmy Wayne..who grew up here in Gaston county. Very good storyline, and one I will enjoy for years to come. A favorite from 2006, is Christmas Card. I starts Ed Asher. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week. Stay warm -:)
Well, we have enough snow to build a snowman, but it's not a good packing snow. Still spitting around this morning. Know what you mean, Darc. Christmas cards are few and far between and I do miss sending and receiving as many as we used to! I want to make a few this year and I'd better get with it. Need to run some errands, do some mending, and get my book club book read. I would like to accomplish all of that before I start with Christmas decorations, cards, and a little baking. My shopping is done - hurray! Hope your day is awesome! Love and Hugs, Nancy
Happy Wednesday morning, Darci. I had a busy Tuesday as I changed my bed with a Xmas bedspread and washed the sheets and pillowcases that were on the bed and replaced them with more Christmas looking colors.
Our tree colors are beautiful now with the yellow, orange, and red colors. I just love to look at them.
Enjoy your day. I hope to relax and do some reading. Hugs, Nancy
As I speak, it is a chilly 14* outside, yes, it's cold, but it beats -55*, so I'll take it, and there's no SNO* to contend with, and that's something. And as for change, it is the one thing that all must get used to adjusting to, and a guaranteed issue. Adjust, or become part of the dust of history, eh?!...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS, & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY / HUMPDAY, and are having a FABULOUS WEEK, my friend...
A good day to you & hope the week is going fine .Warming up pretty good here getting into the 70's .
