Greetings. Ides of November today. Be careful out there. I actually picked up the banana peel from the floor. My odyssey is over from yesterday. Freedom from trauma today, though the walk this morning took some fortitude to propel myself along. For some reason I did not want to go. I should not be confused with Susan Hayward in the movie I WANT TO LIVE. In either case, heading for 61* later. Unusual for my backyard this time of year. Now I am glad I did not hook up the air conditioner this year. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving. You're probably busy as a beaver. Do you have your turkey bought? Are you having Thanksgiving dinner at your house or will you be going to your daughter's place? Just wondering how you all work that out. You know, nothing makes more of a mess than Thanksgiving dinner. So many greasy dishes. Do you wash dishes by hand or do you use a dishwasher? I wash dishes by hand. We have a dishwasher, but it's an older model. When we moved into this house 5 years ago, it was already here. Came with the house. Never used it, so I don't even know if it works. Have a pleasant Wednesday. Hugs for you ~ Darlene

Good afternoon to you. Its a cloudy day here today and not to bad of a day. I still have my cold. Got a squeaky voice to. But I'm not feeling bad. Just kind of tired.I've already taken a nap and might take another one, just depends on how I feel. Not much else going on. Just doing the laundry and it will be dry soon. Take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Many hugs, Cheryl
Let us start this day anew and not go back to yesterday and the list.
Tuesday is for moving forward. I am asking Jesus to lead the way for me to follow.
That means I can't sit in my chair in front of this computer all day which is one of my favorite things to do.
It also means I have to do something with this hair that probably needs washing in the shower.
My only hope might be if everyone looks into my heart and not what my hair looks like today. I will have it looking better before work in a couple of days. Do you have a hat I can borrow?
