Happy ALL SAINTS DAY. It is 22* outside, the windows on the car are frosted up, the door handle on the back door was frozen so I had to use force to re-enter FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, and a visual sighting of some ice on the street. Not much as the ground is still warm from the devil keeping the furnace on in Hell. I am planning on going to church in about 90 minutes of this keystroke. The other option is waiting for 12:30. If I go early, it will be the Cathedral as I imagine most of you have been there when visiting my city. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hi there. I just finished changing my page to Thanksgiving. You will have to go and check it out. Its another cool day here but at least the sun is shining. Tomorrow its supposed to get up in the 60's, which will be nice. I'm not a cold weather person. I like it in the 70's. How is your day going? I don't know if we will have any trick or treaters tonight. We live in a small town and the churches have already had a trunk or treat on Sunday evening because there are basketball games here tonight. I will have my light on and candy by the door in case anyone from the other town that is 7 miles away might come by. Well enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening my friend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Happy Halloween. Some light snow but more snow, maybe 1 to 2 inches, later. On the walk this morning, some snow on rooftops, lawns and cars. Pavement just wet. In 1992 we had a snow storm. I believe about 6 inches. It had a lot of water in it and it became slush. I remember driving home in that. It should not be like that here, however, I was hoping to go trick or treating on the bike. I most likely will put that on hold because it is cold enough to freeze. I also remember a Halloween where someone slashed two of my tires. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet.
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a TANTILLIZINGLY TASTY TUESDAY/HALLOWEEN, and are having a WONDERFUL WEEK, my friend...
Tonight is trick or treat night in our small town , but we won't get any kids out this way since we're too far from town. I use to wonder where all the kids came from in town we lived there, then someone told us that people from other areas were bringing car loads of kids in and dropping them off. I guess they were trying to double dip by going to different areas. Did you take your girls trick or treating when they were small? It was such fun going in the old days (back during the late 60s & early 70s). Was so much fun dressing up. Back in those days we took those big brown grocery bags that had the handles on them, trying to see how much candy we could bring home. Back then kids would stay out until 9:00 and go to every house we could. We lived in a larger town back then, so that meant more area to cover. lol. Such great times!
Take Care, Darci and enjoy your week Autunm *hugs* Darlene
Last night to stay in & watch a Halloween movie! That's what I do since we don't get trick or treaters. If you do get costumed visitors, be sure to save some treats for yourself!🍬
