We have 5 Rose of Sharon plants in our front yard. They bloom every year, but never spread. one of them should be called a small tree, with a trunk, at least, 4-5 inches across, and towering some 7 to 8 feet high. They have bulbs, and some drop, but they never sprout anything. Do they need to be planted, or are we mowing them down?

I hate my mouse. I had just finished a nice, long letter to you and I managed to touch that STUPID BUTTON AT THE SIDE OF MY MOUSE and it zapped me away from this page and there went my letter. I have to go take my walk, so I can't sit here and type it all out again. But I will try and get to it SOON. SORRY!!!
I have a Rose of Sharon but didn't know they spread. I did notice a bloom or two the other day. I am working tomorrow. But thank you for always stopping by!

Hi there. Its a warm afternoon here. Its already 88* and supposed to get up to 93*. But we have relief in site. Next week we are supposed to get a cold front, nice cooler weather on the way. I hope you are having a good afternoon. I'm tired from all the running around I did this morning. I need a nap. Don't know if I will get one. Thursday is a day for Butterflies! The other day, I had so many different butterflies in the yard. I think they were looking for water as well as nectar.
Some butterflies seem to add color wherever they go and some are the color!
Have you seen butterflies that are a pale color? I have some that are yellow but you can almost see through them. They are so pale.
I think that this butterfly would just disappear if it landed on a green plant, don't you?!
I love watching the butterflies, but I have very few videos of them. Have you ever tried to video a butterfly up close? Mine are so quick and cover the whole back yard in a matter of seconds. To keep them in view, I have to zoom out to most of the yard and then you can't even tell what color they are!
