Good morning. Happy Saturday. When I went out for my walk this morning it was misting and I feared the worst. Yesterday we had nothing but rain including several downpours . There must have been more wind than this writer knew about as I saw a couple of construction signs tipped over. In either case, a successful start this morning. I am currently awaiting a coffee as I type. I shall then finish my comments and continue on with breakfast. Nothing on the agenda for today except church later this afternoon. Even if I felt like going somewhere, with all the construction going on right now, I would not. My patience is not good. It doesn't look like too much rain today as I audited the weather map. The lawns have turned green from the burnt grass of this summer. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Indeed we are, my friend! BUT enough adulting for awhile, let's go jumping in puddles, while singing at the top of our lungs, and irritating the neighbors...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a SPECTACULARLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SACROSANCT WEEKEND, my friend...
I was going back to re-read your comment and I see you wrote of not liking to carve pumpkins. Well, we never carve pumpkins either. Tried that once years ago and the pumpkin was literally ruined. Never trying that again. I only buy pumpkins for decoration only - no carving. lol. I thought you might get a few for your yard or porch (like I do) for fall decoration...What is pumpkin puree? Sounds like strained pumpkin (something similar to baby food). Is pumpkin pie made from puree?...Do you drink homemade apple cider? When I was a kid, I got turned on cider by watching a few times of how it's made. Our neighbors (back at that time) had several apple trees in their yard. Every fall they made homemade cider and sold it. A few times I watched how they made it. They had this grinder where they threw in the apples. They threw in apples that had worm holes and acted like it was nothing. That must have left an everlasting impression on me because I never drank cider again. When people stopped by to buy their cider, I wanted to say, "Hey that cider has worms in it". Of course, I never said anything because I was afraid I'd get in trouble. Oh boy! lol..
The weekend is here!! Hope you have a great one. It has been a busy day here getting most of my window and blinds done. that feels good! The temps have cooled down so have been washing extra blankets too, now to slow down and catch my breath!
I do have special plans this weekend. My sister and BIL are coming to visit. It has been quite a few years since they live miles and miles away. The weather looks like a soaker on Saturday, glad they are coming on Sunday.
It is great to know you are enjoying your stunning fall season on your side of the world! I admit I love when the heat and exhaustion of heavy summer days and nights are over, followed by crisp, cool and snuggly days! I am looking forward to the weekend a change of pace and the family together for the duration! ~Hugs & Smiles~ Tarlia
