Hello Darci...Do you get many trick-or-treaters in your area? When we use to lived in town we use to get a pile of kids, but ever since we moved 2 miles from town, no one shows up here. I guess we live too far out. It's just as well since the price of candy has gone up so high. One year I thought we had enough candy and ended up running out. Good thing we had some of those packaged lunch crackers to hand out at the end. The following year, we spent $80 on candy to make sure we had enough and it ended up not as many kids showed up. Well, at least there was lots of candy left over for me and the hubby to eat. I don't think either of us needed it though. lol. I'm relieved that we don't have to worry about that anymore.. Take Care.. Halloween Hugs, Darlene
The rain we got last night 2.5" and this morning 2" should have filled in all the cracks that were in our yard. I'll be happy to share!

The weekend is here! And I just "gnome" we will have a good one. Sunshine and very warm here today, tomorrow, and Monday. If you have any spare raindrops, would you mind sharing? Our area is in a drought and could really use a nice soaking rainfall. Thanks in advance. Now let's have a great day and enjoy it completely.
good morning Darci, thank you! Hubby is much better and I have responded to the presciption meds I got Thursday and feel better too. It's been a rough week. Today is game day and we're looking forward to seeing our team play. Have a bodacious weekend!
Happy Saturday. The coffee is on and then I shall be going to Walmart. I have been out of some food reserves since the car broke down unexpectedly. Got the car back but the cost of the repairs was traumatic. More than the car is worth but I did not feel like trying to buy a new one right now. Outside of my adventure in 45 minutes, give or take, church is the only thing on the calendar for the rest of the day. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSIONGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a STEADFASTLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SERENDIPITOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Have a wonderful weekend Darci...I think tomorrow is suppose to be a decent day but after that the cooler weather is going to be here...Good Night my friend
Good afternoon to you. I'm late getting on here cause we just got home from Oklahoma City 45 minutes ago. I had to get all of our stuff put up from spending the night in Oklahoma City last night as my doctor's appoinment was at 9:15 this morning. I made it for later in the day for the next time so we don't have to spend the night. Yesterday it was 83* and today its 52* and tomorrow its going to be even colder with a chance of freezing rain and Sunday not going to be getting out of the 30's and a chance of frozen mix. Not ready for this kind of weather. It doesn't feel to bad outside right now cause the sun is shining and no clouds. But the wind is going to pick up tonight so that will make it really cold. Well have a nice weekend my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Many hugs, Cheryl
Halloween and the end of October are almost upon us. I only put out a few of my haunted village pieces as displaying the whole collection is too time-consuming anymore. Have a Fabulous Friday! 👻
We made it to Friday once again. Rain has been here and gone. But it is supposed to come back again. Now what?
On Wednesday, we spent over 4 hours moving plants. They all got a good drink of water and are now ready for the plastic to go over them. We are expecting 3 nights of temperatures in the 30's.
A picture from years past of the plastic pulled back in winter so they can get sunshine. WE have lots of plants, ok I do, in pots scattered around the front and backyard; lots of hanging baskets everywhere in the back.
This is what it looks like, again from years past, on a cold winter night. Lights are on and the heater is going.
All the plants in tubs, big plastic tubs, got moved to the front. They will go in the garage when temperatures drop with a heater turned on.
Just in case you were wondering... yes, I have plants inside too. This is the only window in the house that does NOT have a solar screen so the plants can get light. I have a plant or two in about 3 other locations inside the house.
