Thinking how grateful I am for: the 4 seasons I enjoy, the birds & small critters that I feed, the nearby marsh & lake I love to gaze at, the bounty of the patio herb gardens I grow & God's hand in it all. 🐰
good morning! it's going to be overly hot in my part of the world this week...today's heat Index is supposed to be at 110*! That's summertime in Texas for you, and it's not even officially summer yet! LOL!
Tuesday is a good morning to watch for hummingbirds as the sun comes up with a cup of coffee.
Oh look, here comes one now. I am glad he found a flower and not my coffee.
Monday evening around 6 pm we got 1.4" of rain in 40 minutes; Sunday evening we got 1.8" in just over an hour; and Saturday we had two showers for a total of 1.9".
Yes, our yard is squishy! I think we are nearing 30" of rain for the year already.
Time to put a smile on my face and if it rains again I will run outside and splash in the puddles as long as they aren't tooooo deep or muddy.

Hi there. Its a warm and humid afternoon here. We had a very noisy, windy and rainy storm come thru here at 4:45 this morning. It even woke up Tony and that usually doesn't happen. How was your weekend? Mine was okay. Didn't do much. Went and saw Trey this morning. He is doing good. He isn't getting around much but he still can't do much with his leg for at least a month. We were hoping shed would have been finished this week..and it would have been. But the metal for roof is on back order till middle of month. Thrn after is finally finished we will once again be waiting on the county inspection.
Hello Darci. It's been a busy morning for me. I've been pressure washing my front porch. It's quite a job too since it's a big old fashioned wrap around porch. Hubby will help me finish when he gets home from work. What have you been up to? Hope your new week is good.
