Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Mine has been a very busy one. It started off cool this morning, had to run the heater in my car. Went to visit my son and daughter in law. Then went and bought groceries at Walmart, had to go my eye doctor and get my glasses fixed. They were driving me crazy, I was constantly straighting them. They are much better now. Filled up my car with gas, then went through the car wash. Then I had the 30 minute drive home. Had to get all my groceries inside and put away. I need a nap know but it's to late in the day. If I took a nap now I wouldn't sleep tonight. I had to run the air conditioner on the way home. The house was hot when I got home so I turned off the heaters and turned on a ceiling fan. Crazy weather. We did get a dusting of snow on Saturday, and it was cold and windy. But today it has got up to 70F. Take care my friend. Hugs

          Hey there Darci ... We had a light snowfall overnight.. By lunch time it was melted.. Suppose to get a little more snow tonight.. Our snow days are dwindling fast.. Did you ever hear of winter onions?  Maybe you remember hearing about them since you're ole PA person.. My grandmother use to call spring snow the 'onion snow'. These onions stay in the ground all winter, then start to grow/sprout in the spring.. They are much different from the onions grown in the summer.. Winter onions are tough and have a strong onion taste, but edible.. My grand had winter onions growing in her garden.. She'd cut them up and use in salads.. I tasted them before, but I prefer the tender garden onions grown in the summer..  *hugs*  Darlene

We have sunshine this beautiful Monday morning and I hope you do too.  

I pray that everything is right in your world this first full week of April.  

I ran across a picture of our house before we moved to DFW well over 20 years ago and after sharing it with my precious, dearest friend, who was our next door neighbor, she sent the picture of us back to me.  

Would you just look at me now and what I have turned into.  What a difference a quarter of a decade makes!  

And I fear there are more changes yet to come.  Do you like my new look?

Well the weekend sure went fast. It's supposed to storm and rain through tomorrow so the week is starting off rainy.
Mason did pretty good for his first try at baseball. They had so many wonderful volunteers helping all the children. He only lasted 1 inning and he had enough but that was a great start for him. Tristan got a silver medal for competing in the tournament yesterday. I skyped with them today and he was so proud. Have a nice evening. Hugs,Rhonda

I'll be embracing the cool temps heading our way. Got more hosta moved to front flower bed by tree. Mid week I hope to get more fresh soil out in the flower beds. Today is rest and relax day. I did make homemade sloppy Joes (no bread) leftovers tonight.

We haven't had the AC on yet.  Today we are 45° and that's about it.  The heat may have to be turned on as it will be a cold night tonigh!

Whew I got exhausted reading all the chores you did lol. I didn't do that many and none outside because it's so soaked. I agree, the simplest sure gives us lots of smiles.
