It's a drippy, cool and cloudy day here.Only 54F, and we could get snow showers tonight and tomorrow. I'm not thrilled about that at all. It's Spring, my tulips are looking so pretty and my lilac bush has purple all over it. Do you have anything planned for your weekend? We are doing the usual stuff. Going to Tony's mom's house to have beans that have cooked since last night in the crockpot and her amazing homemade biscuits. Then tomorrow just resting from the week. Here it is Friday again! Doesn't that just make you want to do a happy dance? :) The weather has been very warm here and will be through the weekend before quite a cool down next week. I did switch to a/c setting but it hasn't come on yet. In a few days it will get put back to heat with the cool down!
Mason will be joining a baseball team for special needs kids tomorrow! Sure hope he does good and really enjoys it. I will wait and go watch him once we see just how he does because a big crowd really makes him nervous. Tristan has a tournament tomorrow for jiu jitsu tomorrow. He has gotten so good at it and enjoys competing.
I was able to catch up on cleaning today since I have had the day to myself and managed to get 3 windows cleaned. Always nice getting spring cleaning done.

I expect the daffodils will be fading after tomorrow's rain. But right now they are awesme. It's all delayed from where you are. No tulips have come up yet. Still kinda early for much here. Next week they say snow lol. Won't be much this time of year. This weekend I plan to stay dry and do the usual inside chores. How about you?
Welcome the weekend. Had a chiropractor appt this morning, then stopped at my favorite consignment store and picked up items I had purchased online..they're right down around the corner, so it worked out great. Not liking this heatwave..cut the ac back on yesterday. I'm looking forward to next week's cooler temps. I'm sure our yard will need cutting again soon. We cut the yard a week ago. April is here, so we will sit back and see what she has in store for us..Happy weekend. 🙂🌷🌷🙂
Good afternoon. It's a wonderful rainy day here. And it's 55F. I think it might rain all day. We have a chance for more rain tomorrow and a yucky frozen mix on Saturday. I am enjoying the rain as it has been so dry here. And it smells so good. I hope you are enjoying your afternoon. I have been busy cleaning out the fridge, putting clean sheets on the bed and taking out trash in the rain. Well take care my friend --hugs--
I hear ya Darci. Just roll with it. 66 here. Go figure. By Tuesday it will be 30 lol. Looks like a real soaker of a weekend here. We're already soaked after last night's storm. When I went out this morning, more of my daffodils are blooming!
I think the tulips in my pot on front steps may need to be put in the ground, or a bigger container. I'm guessing maybe do this in the late fall or winter. I planted some wild flower seeds today. Of course the cars are digging up in my flower beds. Outside toilet. It will be curious to see if anything comes up.
