Good morning. 28* with about an inch of snow. Going to 34* later. Pleasant but the pace was slowed this morning for caution of slipping. Nothing planned for today. Tomorrow I plan on activating the car but I shall remain sequestered. I may break out and tour the neighborhood later but that is a game time decision. Have a good day. I had a wonderful day with Jamie/Andrew and the boys and my dad made it too. we had so much yummy food and that means leftover! Sounds like you had a wonderful time with your family too. Mason started running a low grade temp Wednesday evening and Jamie called Thursday morning to let dad and I know but Mason stays in Jamie's room most of the time and I really wanted to go! Mason still isnt feeling to good. Jamie will have to take him to the doctors Monday if hes not better. Poor little boy. have a great night and a relaxing Sunday. Love all your candy canes. How have you been? Did you gobble until you wobbled on Thanksgiving? lol. We took a ride to Cracker Barrel and had dinner there. They had fried turkey on the menu, so I tried it. Never tried fried turkey before, but it was pretty good. They put gravy over it, along with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes along with the other usual TG trimmings. Did you ever try fried turkey before? They had a few different pies to choose from. I tried their pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I spotted a berry pie too, so I asked for a slice of that too. The waitress was probably thinking 'What a hog'. lol. I was so stuffed by the time we left there.. I'm sure you had a wonderful time with all your family members. The worst part about a TG meal is the mess and the clean up afterwards..
Did you ever watch the Polar Express? I watch every year (several times). I love that movie. I already seen it twice so far this year and will most likely see it another 3 or 4 times before it's all said and done. I really like your candy cane page. It's so colorful. Good afternoon Darci,how was your Thanksgiving?ours was nice here it's two days after the face and we're still eating turkey if we eat much more we'll turn into turkeys(lol).I like your page We are all decorated for Christmas we have our tree lights & outdoor lights on timers.Ceil is making a leftover casserole it's really good and easy to make you take all of your turkey,sweet potatoes,cranberry sauce,stuffing,green bean casserole,& gravy and you mix it all together then you put it into an oblong baking dish and put it in the oven for an hour...Hugs,Rob & Ceil
