Be Thankful every day! Tomorrow is a big day for a lot of people!
Thanksgiving!
Is everything ready? Is the food ready to cook? Are the vegetables cut up? Is the house clean?
Come on in as long as you are bringing something to eat and especially dessert.
Now you know that stuff doesn't matter. It is all about family and friends being together. Hey, as long as you are here, will you rake some leaves for me?
May this day bring blessings to you and all of your family and friends. Fategrandma/Pam
Hello. A bad day for the country 60 years ago. November 22nd 1963. I remember where I was at and who told me. Seems like yesterday. Have a good day on this eve of the turkey. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Thanksgiving week is rolling on for those who observe it. I am going to try to make church the next two days because on Thanksgiving they have a Mass where more people will attend and I shall avoid that. And Friday, the priest will take the day off. I wonder if he is going to do BLACK FRIDAY. In either case, I have reconciled myself to the idea that the battery in my motorcycle is defective after three and a half years and I shall wait for the ride next spring. I may need counselling for this. And oh yes....... the coffee maker was cleaned with vinegar yesterday. A necessary evil of life. I am just about ready to try a cup of coffee now. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Though your heart is achin' Smile, Even though it's breakin' When there are are clouds in the sky You'll get by... If you smile Through your fear and sorrow Smile, And maybe tomorrow You'll see the sun come shinin' through, For you... Light up your face with gladness Hide, every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near That's the time, You must keep on tryin' Smile, what's the use of cryin' You'll find that life is still worth while If you just smile If you smile Through your fear and sorrow Smile, and maybe tomorrow You'll see the sun come shinin' through for you... Light up your face with gladness Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear May be ever so near That's the time You must keep on tryin' Smile, what's the use of cryin' You'll find that life is still worth while If you just smile If you... just smile

Good morning. Monday of Thanksgiving week and what was formerly known as BLACK FRIDAY WEEK. Yesterday I completed the task of discreetly getting rid of the branches and shrubs. I had perfect cover as it was Sunday and Catholics do not sin on Sunday. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Gregory Peck and Mary Badham on the set of To Kill a Mockingbird. The two would remain close friends until Peck's death in 2003. She always called him Atticus.
2023 is fading...where did it go? Looking forward to yet another beautiful holiday season. I don't put Christmas decorations up till December 1. Will take Fall decorations down next weekend. Wishing you a wonderful new week ahead.
I feel the same way about how rapidly this year went by..... at my place, we're not encouraged to decorate for Cmas until further into the month. I don't mind. I enjoy the sparkle lights and decos very much. Sending you best wishes for a smooth new week....
