How has your week been so far? Mine has been busy and COLD! This cold snap is lasting a while. The morning starts out in the 20's but thankfully its been sunny. Your house must smell so good with all your baking! I used to bake a lot when the girls were home. Dylan will be here with me Monday and he has been asking for pumpkin ice cream again so we will be making that and we will whip up a batch of eggnog. He is at the perfect age to make things so fun. I do make a pumpkin roll for Christmas and a pumpernickel boat. Its pumpernickel bread with a delicious dip. It's so yummy! Enjoy the rest of the day. hugs,Rhonda
You got that right! Sure wish we elves! It may be midnight before I am done with today lol.

We need more hours in a day, huh? Christmas cards to write, baking to do, gifts to wrap....all on top of our day-to-day chores! We need elves, Greg. That is what we need!

My day is going good. I got Christmas cards and planned to start getting them ready but like you said, there is tomorrow.
happy middle of the week Darci! it's a rainy day here in my part of Texas...we sure did need the rain! I have physical therapy at 11, my right leg needs a lot of help it's just old and weak..LOL! I go twice a week...
Good morning. A balmy 25* this morning heading for 35* later. There is a wind advisory, and some snow for later, hopefully not much. It was a good walk this morning although a late start for me. I am an hour behind. It prohibited my walking on the road without the inconvenience of traffic. This is the anniversary of the incident of this walker eating concrete and having to go to the walk-in clinic. I am planning on going to church in about an hour unless the Earth crashes into the sun, and even then, I should have an 8 minute warning, unlike the NFL with the 2 minute warning. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
when you go to Aldi, do you have to bring your own bag?

How's your day? Mine is sunny and cold and terrific. Went to Aldi this morning for my baking supplies (and got a lotta other stuff, too). Dinner is in the crock pot and a load of laundry is done. I should start writing Christmas cards and wrapping but....there's always tomorrow, right? LOL
Good afternoon, I hope yours is a good one. Its a breezy, sunny and 64* here. I'm enjoying the warm weather, not ready for freezing cold and snow. I finally got my page done. I didn't want snow or anything cold. I like how it turned out. Went to Walmart this morning, needed some things and the hubby is always cold so I got him some new pajama bottoms. His other one he has had forever and weren't very warm. Enjoy the rest of your day and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Been slowly decorating since Saturday. Are you doing it up for the holidays? One day I may not feel like going thru the trouble of putting up 2 small trees, 1 big tree & putting lights in 3 archways plus setting out all the gingerbread items. But for now I still have the energy & desire. π
Morning Darci. Yes I do lots of baking but haven't started mine yet. My granddaughter will be here to visit on the 14th and I think I'll wait till then so she can help. Still cold here. We got our tree up yesterday but not decorated yet. Enjoy your Tuesday.
Good morning. It was 17* on the walk. Heading to a balmy 26* for a high later. I am not expecting much from the sun today. On the walk this morning, I did experience some slippery spots. And the snow was hiding a couple of holes but I escaped unscathed. I shall be sequestering myself in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE today unless ambition takes me out for a constitutional in the neighborhood to make certain all is good. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
We don't do a lot of baking for Christmas, but Thanksgiving is another thing altogether. THEN, Crow, made a lot of desserts, and a Italian Salad, and I made Ratatouille...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a TANTILLIZINGLY TASTY TUESDAY, and are having a TRANSFORMATIONAL WEEK, my friend...
