Christmas shopping is done, gifts are wrapped, cards are sent. Just a few stragglers left to do yet. Making yeast dinner rolls for Christmas dinner and a couple of other last minute things. We have Christmas at the farm as my youngest daughter lives there now. Will be here before we know it! Enjoy the festivities leading up to Christmas! Darc, I am sure my rolls don't hold a candle to your crescent rolls! These raise in the frig and are super easy - can use for rolls, pizza dough, etc. Will be going through recipes today. The girls pretty much have everything covered for Christmas dinner. They just want me to bring green bean bundles, plus my rolls. Hey Darci - Good evening - how was your day today? Hope it was a good one weather you were busy doing last minute decorating or shopping. I went to have a pedicure while honey went to Lowe's. He didn't find what he wanted and waited patiently for me to finish up. We had a late lunch at Chick Fil -A - they have the best chicken sandwiches. Haven't eaten there in a long time. No dinner tonite as we aren't hungry, but can snack on the baked ziti that is left over. We only have tomorrow to finish it up or throw it out before we leave for Jersey on Friday morn. So you probably won't hear from me for a few days.
It's gonna rain here starting tomorrow also and will be raining when we leave Fri. morn. But I'm sure it won't be raining the whole way up there, but I'm not sure. And I doubt it will be a white Christmas there either. Can't remember the last time we had snow for Christmas.
I just found two presents I hid that are Richie's. I would have wondered what happened to them! I have snuck a couple peices of candy in a stocking that I hung from the mantle, so he'll have something to find after Christmas. Now if I can only find the othe Christmas card I had to hide!!

Rain is to start here tomorrow night (Thursday) and it's to rain all day Friday. However, they are, right now at least, calling for sunshine on Christmas Eve and Christmas day - hope they're right!

I watched the finale last night and my favorite did not win (again) lol. I'm almost caught up with chores. Still have a couple of gifts to wrap. I made fast and easy fudge yesterday. It's frosty and cold this morning. I finally have a day at home to start finishing up Christmas. Darc, I went to oral surgeon yesterday and will be havinga tooth pulled Jan. 10th. So glad it's after Christmas! Poor Emma is getting her wisdom teeth out Dec. 20th, tomorrow! Hopefully she will be healed in time to enjoy Christmas dinner. Having very pleasant weather here to enjoy not like some of you are having . Had the Santa Claus fire truck come thru the addition last night passing out candy canes .It's the annual thing they do for several areas around here .All ready for Christmas & hope the rest of the week is good for you.....George

6 oz. can concentrated orange juice, thawed 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers 1 stick butter, softened 1 c. chopped pecans 1 box 10X powdered sugar 1 c. coconut (to roll balls in)
Crumble vanilla wafers and combine with all ingredients except coconut. Mix well and roll into small balls. Roll balls in coconut and place on wax paper. Refrigerate or freeze.
