What a rainy, cold Friday it is. But it's all good because I've gotten some things done and now am baking a double batch of Dave's favorite cookies for Christmas. My house smells like Mrs. Claus's kitchen. I have Christmas music playing and am feeling very festive. How is your day going? Is your weather good?
So glad you didn't get any more icy weather. Our Friday has been cold, cloudy and windy. We did go out to eat lunch, but will stay in now the rest of the day. Of course, I will be reading. Hugs, Nancy
Sounds interesting! I use oils, but have never crafted with them!

These poor little mice seem to have their twinkle lights in a tangle! Similar to what Dave and I just went through with our lights on the front porch. Had a whole string go out and no new bulbs or fuses would help. So down they came and a new string went up. I went to the dr. this morning for routine labs and then we ran to Wet Pets to get a new spotted catfish for the aquarium. How has your day been? Hopefully it's been great for you. Nanc, the make and take party is this: we each pay $10 for supplies and we will make three things using essential oils. Bath salts, linen spray and I can't remember the third thing. The things we make are worth more than the $10, for sure but it's just a fun time of getting together and putting oils to good/beneficial use. Wish you could come.
Sending you warm Christmas greetings! Darc, I ran most of the afternoon today - 5 hrs. to be exact. Helped wrap gifts at the church for the needy, then went to 3 stores to finish up my shopping and got the car washed. Just needed to get the grime off though it won't last long. Supposed to get heavy rains overnight and thru the weekend. On the up side, I got gas for $1.98 today : ) Well, I've got to get things put away. Just had to drop and take a rest first! Hugs and Peppermint, Nancy
We went to doc for 6mo checkup this morning and were going to shop and hit the grocery, but it started pouring, so we're back home again. Hope your morning was more productive than ours. I loved the tag you left yesterday. It is my beloved g'mother after g'daddy died, trimming the tree all by herself. Nothing kept that lady from her goals for long. Thx for the memory... *hugs*
Big Day getting closer and closer. I went on Amazon last nite and ordered a new Spring purse. Nothing like being prepared, eh? You must be over the moon to get the good news. So happy for you. Hugs, Anne

It is a gray, chilly Thursday here, how about at your house? Tomorrow is to be a soggy day so I guess I'll do a little housework and bake some cookies. Tonight we are going to our oldest grandson's (Chandler's) Christmas band concert. I look forward to hearing the band and seeing all the holiday lights to and from his school.
Hi Darci, hope your daughter's MRI had good results. Send me some of that sun, huh? Ours lasted one whole day. lol. More rain on the way. guess it's that time of year. Have a wonderful Thursday.
Good morning Darci: You know I'm not surprised at the long-term effects of med uses. We seem to poke around our bods to try and change things and the body says "I'll get ya". I don't think we know a lot about long-term effects. Anyway, glad it's benign. A relief for all of you.
Technically speaking, I'm the Grinch & Scrooge rolled into one, when it comes to celebrating Christmas. The idea behind the reality, is what I value the most, and I know Santa exists, as I was privy to his appearance, some 60+ years ago. But, then, I know that magic exists as well, so take it from there. No, my wife, Crow, is the decorator, I just watch the proceedings, and help out, occasionally, and growl, "BAH, HUMBUG", when the grandkids wish a 'Merry Christmas', and enjoy their laughter...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS, & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a TERRIFIC THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a MAGNIFICENT WEEK, my friend...
Funny you should say that... it's exactly what I did, "Don't find any more Cmas stuff!". lol Have a great today, doing things that give you "happy", dear Darci. *hugs*
Hi Darci, a long day today, had lunch with a friend, went to a large $ store got some lighted up Santa and a tree for the window. only place that had them. So nice to see those lights from outside too. ready for the bed soon. Have a good day and love the mice all tangled up in the lights. lol thanks for that one. Hugs, Moe

Wallowing in the mud does present quite a picture, Darci! HA!
The Christmas Tea was delightful. My friend's home is beautiful, her table was laid with lovely china, cookies of all kinds, tea sandwiches, and, of course, tea. I have never been in a position to do something like this, but I sure can enjoy it when others do! She had hired help in the kitchen and to maintain the table and assist guests - first class all the way. If I had friends in for tea, it would be served at the kitchen table with whatever I had in the cookie jar! HA! Have you ever had a Tea for friends/family? Hugs to you, Maria
Happy sunny Tuesday to you. Well sunny for me, at least. Taking our middle daughter to the imaging center for an MRI today and, after that, probably not much else. Our snow is melting and I hope the ground can dry up some before rain comes on Friday and Saturday. It's a soggy, muddy mess. Instead of building snowmen for Christmas, we may all be mud-wrestling. And with that visual, I will leave you now and wish you a terrific day! Maria, how was your Christmas tea? What a fun thing to do!
