Fabulous Friday to you! What are you up to? I've been to Walmart for some things I forgot yesterday and have done some household work. Even spent some time outside! It's chilly today but not bad. I filled the suet feeder and my birds are happy. I enjoy bird watching (and squirrel spying) so much. Have a great evening, Maria.

Evening Darci - hope you have had as good a day as your hungry little birdies have had! I went out shopping for a few things, but wasn't out long. Had to stop to get honey another Christmas card as I think the one I bought him fell inbetween the drawers and you can't pull them out. Dang that makes m pissed. His brother wanted Rich to take him to Va. Beach to Oceana and Little Creek so he could shop, and Rich still isn't home. His brother could shop anywhere and really didn't need him to take him - everyone has GPS at least on his phone, but I'm sure he did it for spite. No one need to spend 6 hours shopping that far away. We were supposed to go to the VFW as always on Fri. nite, but I'm not gonna go now - anyway I'm hungry and I wasn't gonna cook now that he still isn't home. So if he wants to go, he'll have to go by himself. I wanted to stop to see the lighted boat parade on the way, but that's gonna be out now too.
I haven't heard anything about a storm our way either - like you said tomorrow is supposed to be nice, Sun. not as nice, but not really any bad weather - not that I heard anyway. I'd turn the tv on, but can't find the remote!!! Does that ever happen to you? Oh well, silence is nice. got to get up and feed the dog - think I'll order me a pizza as I'm hungry too.

It's a very chilly morning with snow on the ground. It's so pretty but icy underneath. Had so much fun at book club last night and today I"m working on Christmas cards and baking cookies. Hope you are enjoying your day Darc : ) Hugs, Nancy
Too early for snow, Darci! I agree! Phooooey! However, you are still young enough to enjoy it, at least somewhat, but I am not. Our weather this weekend could be nasty, but so far they aren't calling for snow.

I am having a very good Thursday and hope you are, too. I've grocery shopped and done some cleaning. I believe Dave and I are finished with yard work now until spring. He transplanted the last plant we had to move and now I guess everything will rest for a few months. They are calling for snow here this weekend and I must admit that I'm hopeful we get it. I can't remember having snow this early here, Maria. But then I can't remember what I walked from one room to the other for so.....
Right now I'm watching the tale end of a Hallmark Christmas movie - third one in a row withTatyana Ali. Guess there is a run on her this month. Honey made dinner of hot dogs with potaoes - he makes them soo good with all the seasonings he puts in. Saved me from having to cook. It was a do nothing day for me - sat around and read some newspapers laying around and doing a bit of computering. Glad you got all your outside work done before the real cold sets in. It went up to 50 today and was another nice day.
Tomorrow Rich is going to the Pearl Harbor service at the little military area then going to go to Va. Beach to take his brother to the Navy exchange store. I hope his brother drives as he's the one wanting to go Christmas shopping!
Dinner was a huge success - had a good turn out and the food was just great. We brought home a couple peices of desserts and what little prime rib he didn't finish. All the left overs went to the firefighters in the area. He forgot to bring any of it home for us. It was almost a huge peice except for a few peices cut off. Oh well. I was so full when I got home I felt like I could burst. While there we got another invite to a Christmas dinner from another FRA post for Monday - business casual It's in Va. Beach so we'll leave here around 4:30; another couple was invited also but he works Mon. so we'll go seperately. Should be another great dinner and will have about 100 there so it'll be another great time and dinner.

Good evening Darci...sure sounds like we will have a very interesting weather pattern moving our way. So tomorrow, I will hit the grocery aisles and see what’s left. Was hoping to get by Hobby Lobby this weekend, but that won’t likely happen. Still don’t have our tree up. We are so cramped for space, as well as Cameron is working loads of overtime (he puts tree up), looking doubtful we will get one up in our tiny den, when he was born, what is his bedroom now..use to be David’s office. All of the office furniture ended up in the den. So I affectionately label our house (especially the den) a walk in closet. I did get the front porch decorated...and have some Christmas knick knacks sitting around. I do hope to do some baking soon, want to make the saltine toffee. So will have to remember tomorrow (need a list) to buy the items needed. Wishing you a wonderful Friday -:)
