I hope you have had a great week. It was beautiful the beginning of the week but did it ever cool down! It sure is cold but by Saturday it will start to warm up and next week will be back in the mid 70's.
There were a few festival activities this week for the grandsons to enjoy. They sure got their share of candy and had fun going through it when they got home. so fun.
Good afternoon to you. Its a lovely 67* here . I just love the weather. Even though its dry here, we need some moisture but I'm not wanting snow or ice. Just some nice rain. Went to the second hand store today and got me some blouses. That place has so many clothes that it takes a while to go through them. Happy Thursday! Yesterday we had some leftover snow from the night before. Trees have just started to turn and many are still green. But temps are now wintery. Strange autumn in Wonderland . . . 🍂
GOOD MORNING. Day of the Dead. Today is one of the days people celebrate DAY OF THE DEAD. I always do this day because it is after Halloween and ALL SAINTS DAY. We got our first snowfall early Wednesday morning. What a great way to start off November. Hubby said there was about 1" out there early this morning, but it didn't stay long though. The ground is still too warm yet. I didn't get to see it. Was too early for me. Did you get your 2024 calender yet? I usually wait until December to get one, but by then all the good pictures of cats or kittens are gone. So we got a new calender at Walmart about 2 weeks ago, so I guess I'm set for 2024 (I think) lol.. I'm not ready for 2024 yet. Hope you have a pleasant Thursday. Take Care, Darlene
Happy ALL SAINTS DAY. It is 22* outside, the windows on the car are frosted up, the door handle on the back door was frozen so I had to use force to re-enter FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, and a visual sighting of some ice on the street. Not much as the ground is still warm from the devil keeping the furnace on in Hell. I am planning on going to church in about 90 minutes of this keystroke. The other option is waiting for 12:30. If I go early, it will be the Cathedral as I imagine most of you have been there when visiting my city. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hi there. I just finished changing my page to Thanksgiving. You will have to go and check it out. Its another cool day here but at least the sun is shining. Tomorrow its supposed to get up in the 60's, which will be nice. I'm not a cold weather person. I like it in the 70's. How is your day going? I don't know if we will have any trick or treaters tonight. We live in a small town and the churches have already had a trunk or treat on Sunday evening because there are basketball games here tonight. I will have my light on and candy by the door in case anyone from the other town that is 7 miles away might come by. Well enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening my friend and take care.
