Happy new week. Mid-October already. My favorite month goes by all too quickly. Tarlia, we lost our 12 year old German shepherd overnight. She passed away peacefully after having a stroke a couple days ago. We knew she was nearing the end even before the stroke. He back legs barely worked anymore and she had every sign of an aged dog. She was a good old girl and we will surely miss her. On a happier note, it's a beautiful, cool autumn day so I'm pleased.
HI DARCI, HOPE YOU DON'T GET ANY FIRES AROUND YOUR AREA, AT 80 THE LEAVES WILL ALL BE DRY AND READY TO BURN. WISH YOU THE BEST. SUNNY HERE TODAY FOR MOST OF THE DAY BUT THE WIND CAME UP AND IT WAS COLD. I COULD SMELL SNOW IN THE AIR AND SOME PLACES ARE GETTING IT TO DAY. HOPE IT STAYS AWAY FROM HERE FOR SOME TIME TO COME. HAVE A GOOD DAY DARCI. HUGS, MOE XX
It's only going up to 64 today quiet a change from the low 70's we've had all week but like you, Darci, we are going to be at or new 80 by the end of the week. After all it's Indian Summer time. Happens every October. Our last burst of warm weather before the cold sets in - be glad for it! I got up late again today as I've had such a hard time sleeping lately so I put frozen chicken in the crockpot along with potatoes and seasaonings and will roast some brocolli for dinner. I'm hoping it'lll be done by at least 7. Nothing else happening over here - it's a quiet Monday. Hope the same for you. Scarecrow hugs, Wendy
Good morning. Expecting rain until about 8 this morning. I avoided it when out this morning with the exception of some misting the last half mile or so, colonial distance. Nothing mandatory is planned this morning so I will be playing it by toe. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Was a beautiful day here with just a little wind out - temp was 70. Not alot going on here. I went to dominos by myself tonite as Rich didn't want to go. I came in last. Got home a little after ten. We only played 12 instead of 15 cause we didn't know how long we would be playing. At least if past part of the afternoon. She had turkey veggie soup as she is back on her diet. Since the galwho cooks didn't show up Friday nite to serve dinner, my friend is gonna cook and I'll do a sheet cake for dessert. Guess she's mad at what the discussion was about what she isn't doing and this is how she reacted. Oh well. Have a good day tomorrow. Pumpkin pie hugs, Wendy
Good afternoon my friend. How are you doing? Its been a nice weekend here. Tempertures in the low 80's. But this coming week we have a chance for rain and back to the 70's. Not much going on here. Tony, my husband has all but the back yard mowed. The last time we will have to mow this year. I'm not ready for it to turn cold. I like the Fall weather. Take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening. Hugs to you, Cheryl
Wishing you a peaceful relaxing Sunday. It's a warm beautiful fall day here. The leaves are so pretty and falling now. Did a little raking yesterday but will have to get the mower out this week.
I'm with you if there was a pumpkin pie in front of me i would be diving in too!!! Made some peanut butter ice cream and maple ice cream using pure NY maple syrup, oh yum. They both are amazing. I just used the heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and then added peanut butter to taste and the maple syrup to taste. not sure which I like better. I have no doubt dad will enjoy them too.
chick fil a had a costume contest this week and Dylan had fun dressing in his Sonic costume. Mason is an adorable Woody but he was not in the mood to dress up so he went as his adorable little self. This week there is a fall festival at a church and then thursday an activity at Masons school and a Boo Bash in town so it will be a busy week ahead.
Hope you are doing good. Have a great week ahead. Hugs,Rhonda
