Are you having a fabulous Friday? I sure am. This morning, before it got too steamy, we went out and picked the garden and then picked blueberries. There are tons more blueberries coming on so we just keep picking, I keep freezing them, and we will have blueberries in various forms through the year! After lunch we ran to Wally World and Lowe's. Found an outdoor bistro set I've had my eye on for weeks, marked down from $148.00 to $78.00. Needless to say, it's now on my front porch looking pretty darn cute! How is your day going? Anything special planned for your weekend? Have a great evening!
A blessed day to you. A bit cool today so I think I need another hot cup of coffee to continue with my moments.
The wild yellow and pink roses are now in bloom around the yard, so warms my heart looking it the beauty of them each day while the roses last. Have a glorious Friday day. Smiles Gloria

It's a sunny, comfortably warm kind of day. Rain moving in late this afternoon and evening. We just can't catch a break! Hope your week is going well. Hugs, Nancy
I hope you are having the happiest of hump days. My day has been quite accomplished and I love days like that....when I kick life's butt and take a few names. LOL One more load of laundry to fold and put away and then I can kick back and relax until time to make supper. It keeps looking like it wants to rain so I'm willing it to go ahead and get us wet. Have a great rest of the afternoon and evening. Oh Anne, I don't envy you being so busy with moving and home-showing. I told my husband that last time we moved, never again. My next move will be to the pearly gates, PERIOD! LOL
Thanks for the update Anne. I’m sure your home is beautiful. I have a friend who is 70..she put her home on market a week ago. She is widowed. Her house was built new 7 years ago. She is moving to N Myrtle Beach SC. Both of her brothers have already moved there..(both retired)..We will miss seeing her, but she decided she had no roots left here. Her husband passed last spring after 31 yrs of marriage. Looking forward in reading your journey here. Hugs and Blessings -:)
HOW DID YOU FIND THE 55+ YOUR MOVING INTO. WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING WE CAN AFFORD AROUND HERE. ILLINOIS IS WAY TO EXPENSIVE. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

Pictures to share I have been so busy showing my house that is now up for sale and buying my new place in a 55+ community that I have not been on The Hill for a while. I had no idea I would be so busy. I will be detailing my moving journey in a blog soon. Love and Prayers for you, Anne
hello, been busy doing all sorts of things outside, we've had such nice weather...today it's raining , but i guess these kind of days are for cleaning the house...wish you a nice day...hugs
I haven't been on the Hill for a long time and am back! So much has happened in my life and not all good but I am getting better. I am getting ready for a big move by winter as my kids don't want me living by myself in the country. I love country living. I am recovering from having 2 stents put in and doing therapy 3 days a week. Feeling much better. I hope you are doing better than me. Caroline
My goodness it is early afternoon already. I am enjoying the moments so much dong this and that, this day is just flying away from me. I need another cup of coffee to brighten this afternoon even more. Smiles Gloria.
How are you this fine Friday? It's a beautiful day here and I'm looking forward to spending some time outside this afternoon. This evening we are keeping baby Jude for a few hours while Jenny and James go out. He will probably sleep the entire time he's here but at least we get to spend some time with him. Jenny said he may think, "Oh, I'm at Grammy's and Papa's so let's play!" Either way, it's fine with us. Have a fabulous day and get ready....the weekend's almost here!
I have been enjoying the out of doors for most of the day and I truly do need another cup of coffee. Flowers are blooming more and more all over the yard plus the rose bushes. What a breathtaking site to see. I so do enjoy all the four seasons and all of its beauty.
Oh my gosh, what a beautiful day in my neck of the woods! Sunny, slight breeze, low 80s! Soon as my pan of "brookies" come out of the oven, I may just do a bit of porch-sitting. Brookies, by the way, are brownies with dollops of chocolate chip cookie dough on top. Fortunately it only makes a small pan, otherwise...... How is your day going? Whatever you're up to and whatever the weather, I hope you have a wonderful afternoon and evening!
