Hello Lisa sounds like a good day to stay in and keep warm at your house! We've had a chilly week too but it's to warm up to near 70 today.  That's going to feel balmy compared to what we've had.  I rounded up all my stuff for Brocccoli cheese soup yesterday so still going to make it even though it's warmed up. Have a good weekend!

I think we survived the first week of the year.  I hope it has been a wonderful week for you and your family.  

We are just chilling this week.  We will wait until next week to run our errands.  

Do you think the eagle and the bear are both chilling?  One thing for sure, they are not looking at each other.  

You are welcome to sit with us for a spell and chill.  We always have coffee and something to eat.  

Make every day a Happy Day whether you are just chilling or hard at work.

If we had snow, it'd be a fine day to take the cat for a sled ride. It's sunny and cold. However I have no snow, a cat that would have NOTHING to do with a sled, and I am missing a sled, to boot! Pitiful, isn't it? Snow or not, I plan to enjoy this day and I hope you have a nice day, too. Tomorrow's Friday.

The first week of the year is flying by.  We are trying not to leave the house until all kids and teachers are back in school.  Too much Traffic!!!!  

I don't think I have given you your 2024 New Years kisses yet.  The only way to wish you the best year of your life!  

Maybe you are like my grandson and just not the hugging kind of person.  So I will just blow you a Good Year kiss.  

Even the Preacher at Church told my grandson that he will heal the hearts of many people with his Hugs.  So you know that I am always sending you...

Southern food to bring in the new year is black eyed peas, rice, greens, and ham. My sister cooked a ham, peas, and potatos. I don't eat potatos anymore, and limit on beans, depends on carb amount. But do love ham. I bought one on sale today. Love your page 🙂🙂🙂

Here we are: midweek of our first week of 2024. I do hope this year doesn't fly by as fast as all the years previous but I have a feeling it will. What are you up to today? I have done my Wednesday work and I'm waiting for towels to get dry so I can fold them and put them away. It's a good day and I plan for it to continue. Hope the same for you!

good morning Lisa, we have rain on the way today and more on Saturday they say. It was cold yesterday and I stayed in as much as possible. Still working on packing away the totes with Christmas stuff. I have way too much!  Everything is done except the front porch lights and hubby will make a trip up to the attic later today with all the stuff.  Hope Marie is doing well.  Have a good mid week and you and Dixie keep warm.

Middle of the week is here, sort of.  Wednesday and it is still winter.  I know, I have several months to go.  

At least it is a new year.  But the last year is gone.  Sometimes we just don't realize what new means.  

The wind is so icy and it just cuts right through you.  Even the snowman is not very happy.  

You will NOT see me outside on a sled.  In fact, if there is snow on the ground, you probably won't see me outside at all.  

The snowman or Rbt will have to bring the mail inside to me.  Now I am off to turn the electric heater on so don't get too close or you might melt.
