This time of year I cherish wonderful memories of past Christmases. I was lucky to have parents, now gone, who gave me sweet childhood holidays; I, in return, made sure they spent every Christmas with their grandson. Extra hugs to those of us who have a cry now & again missing those "days of yore."❄️
I bet Missy has her sweater on! Hard freeze last night. I just love it. lol Thx for song... yes, it's pretty! Hope your Today is warm, cozy & terrific, U 2:) *hugs* -di
Taco Tuesday! Even Santa and the Reindeer like tacos. They are getting excited about their trip and then a vacation.
Do you put snow tires on and off all winter or do you leave them on? So glad we don't get that much snow.
I bet Santa is glad he flies above all the traffic. In DFW every morning there is FREE parking around the metroplex.
So if you are out and about this week please remember what this season is all about... sharing the love that Jesus has for every person and creature that He created.
Good morning. 15* heading for 37*. Balmy compared to yesterday. The wind yesterday, horrendous. I went to CITY HALL to pay the taxes and the wind cut to my very soul. I had my head out the door this morning and it felt like an ice box. I miss the walk in the middle of the night but I am done with that. Once I get this splint off, I shall be doing the walk during the day. I do not like it but I do not like eating concrete either. Nothing planned for today. Maybe church but game time decision. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! For my biographers, I have 2 of the 3 new calendars hanging up. #2024
Merry Monday, U 2! If the coming week is to be busy, relax, relax, relax:) I love staying in pj's all day, too. LOVE that snow pic. Framed on canvas would be absotively awesome!! *hugs*
Hello Lisa, did you get very much rain? We had about 2 inches and thankfully only gusty wind nothing too bad. Last weekend I had decorations flying around my yard. lol. Have a good new week!
Monday is a wonderful day! Did you buy the presents or wrap the presents? I know you probably did both.
I believe in Santa but only after at least 2 cups of coffee. Have you ever dressed up as Santa Clause?
Years ago, we would dress up for the Live Nativity for our church. It was always a fun time.
The month of December and Christmas is the best time of year for doing all kinds of things and making lots of memories.
I wore an elf hat just a week or two ago at our Ed Jones Christmas Dinner and got hugs from some of our clients. Whatever you do this week, share your love with others.
Good morning. Christmas week. It is 29* heading down to 15* as the day proceeds. Plan of action, City Hall, property tax. I stuck my head out when I saw some white stuff on the road to see if it was a mirage and it feels cold out. It almost makes me want to rethink the City Hall thing and pay online. And it gives me a chance to see real people with voices not generated by artificial means. And since I do not get the exercise in, it is a mental gymnastics if you will. And of course, it is the banana song, Yes We Have No Bananas by Louis Prima. Outside of this, I await the big day....... my dental appointment in May. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good evening, hope all is well your way.. Well, the weekend is pretty much over, hope it was an enjoyable one for you. Mine was kind of a lazy one, just couldn't get with it... Anyway, take care of yourself and have a great week~~~ hugs, debijo
I hope you have had a blessed Sunday. Looks like the rain is winding down and the new week looks like it will be full of sunshine!
This picture reminds me of when my girls were little and we did an advent. I still have it and the book we read from each night. It helped to teach them the true meaning of Christmas. I will have to get new candles next year and start doing it with my grandsons. that will be so special. I love that both my girls have a nativity and are teaching their kids about the true meaning of Christmas.
Enjoy this coming week as we get closer to Christmas! Hugs,Rhonda
