I hope your Saturday has you smiling. Doing anything special today? It's a gray and misty day here and tomorrow is supposed to be quite wet. Can't gripe; we need the rain. We ran out to the kids' this morning and then stopped at PetSense to get our two dogs something for Christmas. Yep, we are THAT kind of people. LOL

Happy Saturday. I think I will go over to Walmart early for some Christmas cards. Someone sent me one the other day notifying me of the season. We all know how people think of people sending last year's cards again this year. At one time I tried to regift the cards but people would use ink! I have sequestered myself since the incident and will go early to avoid people cursing and calling me names because of the effects of the incident. I am getting better but I don't want to push the envelope. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Saturday and I am having College Football Withdrawals! It will be about 4 weeks until my Texas Longhorns play. UGH!!!
Yesterday and today we had and will have warm temperatures but we also have 20+ mph winds on and off. Thank goodness they settle down at night.
I had a very busy week, especially for me. This time of year do you find people trying to be more kind or less kind? I try to take a deep breath and be more kind every day. Most days it works but some days it doesn't.
Some days things just don't go right, everything you do is a setback. So you just put on a smile. Somehow things get better and you laugh over the day you had.
So if you ever have a troubling day, look around and find something that makes you smile. I hope you have a great Caturday and Weekend being kind to everyone you encounter.
Here it is another weekend! Looks like some rain is moving in for some of the weekend.
The grandkids are all full of Christmas excitement. they are all enjoying their christmas countdowns. I have 2 here and when Dylan comes each morning he has to change them for me. Last night a hardware store in town had Santa there for the kids to see and they served cookies and hot cocoa along with some crafts and games. I look forward to that each year and the boys had a great time. Then we enjoyed seeing some Christmas lights on the way home.

We made it to Friday again. In the blink of an eye Christmas will be over and it will be a brand new year. Today, I am sending you pictures of one of my favorite places that is beautiful all year round. We rode motorcycles down the coast of Oregon and around Crater Lake and back up to Portland.
Have you ever been there? It is a beautiful state to visit. Those are not my pictures as it was a long time ago. My pictures are somewhere on this computer though. Whatever you do, have fun and make great memories!
How has your day been? It's been a great day for me. I finished my holiday baking! And made a batch of peanut butter fudge. Feels good to be done with wrapping and baking. The freezer in the garage is jam packed with cookies now. Can't bake anymore....there's no place to put them. Have a great rest of the afternoon and a quiet evening. I am going to the Edward Jones Christmas dinner this evening. I am excited to see some of my favorite clients.
Yesterday we mowed (vacuumed) the yard and all the bags are now ready for pick up. We are supposed to be near 70 today but VERY windy. I am sure the yard will be full again.
The backyard cleans up nice. The poor plants are so confused with warm during the day and then mid 30's during the night. I think Saturday will be COLD north winds.
