Are you surprised with no snow? Seems like it was supposed to be there?! I seem to be also experiencing up and down weather wise some spot on for the season we are in ......and then not! Good morning. Cold this morning but wind chill advisory less of a time period each day. It is 4*F as of this typing but will drop to minus temps by 8 this morning. Then it will rise to the extreme of 14* later. This too will end as February nears and the problem will come to mind if I need a new lawn mower. I also am in anticipation of getting the car activated on Saturday and become a part of society again...... in a way. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Good morning. Some snow showers this afternoon. 5* now, dropping to -2 by 8 this morning. A balmy high of 12* later. Yesterday, I managed to get out and walk over to my bank to print out a tax document. I had to walk cautiously in some places, my neighborhood because of the ice but made it over there successfully. Did not talk to anyone there so I heard no human voices, but did get to hear a human when I struck up a conversation with someone blowing some snow. And yes, the person stopped the blower. Today, the most hated person on the planet is the person who invented FITTED SHEETS. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

The storm was so bad. Flooding everywhere

and power outage.

It was a terrible day.

good morning Lisa, thank you! Tomorrow is Nat'l Pooh Day and I observe it each year cuz I love that little guy.  Hope you and Dixie are warm and cozy this morning. My phone said 22 degrees when I woke up.  Happy mid week.

I am not even sure what day of the week it is for some reason.  However, I do know it is winter and cold!  

Some of you have way too much snow!  Now I understand that it is your water source for the year.  We get rain!  

Our rain isn't quite like this video and there are years where we, just like your snowfall, don't get enough.  

However, we all need to take it a day at a time and be thankful we made it to Wednesday.  

Now excuse me while I go turn up the heater as I don't have a fireplace.  We are hoping to get above freezing sometime today!

Greetings. Right now, -4*F but heading for 13* later. Never thought I would see double digits again. Sunday will be the end of this horror of negative temps forever. I walked around the block yesterday to get some fresh air and get out of the house. Too slippery to enjoy it though. I made a tortoise look like a road runner. One of the problems with my neighborhood is they can not put salt or sand on the road because I have a surface where water can leak through it and it is expensive. Nothing planned for today. Very cold temps these past days. Toasty warm in the home.

Hello Lisa. When I see on the news, coverage of cars piled up on the Interstates, stranding their drivers in the cold, I'm so relieved to be living here/

Last time we had a polar vortex, my toilet froze up, and it did it this morning.

Thank you I am slowly feeling better, so far overhere in the West Midlends we have not had any snow, just very frosty nights, and I feel lucky to be home, and not in Hospital, with love Minnie x

No snow here, but it got close..just 90 minutes North, it is a winter wonderland. Not even any rain..which we don't need. Looking at the extended forecast, end of next week we will see mid 60's. Spring arrives March 19 this time..it's going to be a bumpy ride no doubt -:)
