Married 59 years, two children, five grown g'children, and a li'l kitty, Miss Darby, an 8yo Turkish Van (never heard of that one). Our vet, whose shelter we adopted this tiny thing from, gave us no warning, but we soon knew something was up. I googled breed temperament: 1st paragraph, "Put away breakables if you have a Turkish Van in the house." ummm... too late. Geeez, our grey-striped tabby cats were sane:) It's been an 8yr adventure with lotsa love for li'l girl Darby aka 'Dobbie-Dobbie'. She's settling in nicely as she ages. lol LI'L DARBY GIRL
