Mild day in the 40's with sunshine! Tomorrow we're heading for the 50's! Debating whether to change my page later today or clean up my craft room! I've made quite the mess in there the last couple of weeks. Make the most of your Sunday whatever you choose to do! Darc, I am excited for you and Dave. I so looked forward to Glen's retirement too, but unfortunately, he didn't get to celebrate that day. I so miss our day trips the most. I don't get it either. When I hear people complain about their husbands, I just think, you don't understand what you have! Tell Dave congrats - he will so enjoy it! Haven't taken my Christmas down yet - not quite ready. Gosh it's been a wonderful but busy time. My little house is almost back to normal. Just a few decorations to be put away after New Years celebrations and then I'm all done till the same time next year. lol I'm happy in knowing that you've had a fun time too.
What a gorgeous Saturday it is in my neck of the woods! Sunny and in the 60s. I've got clothes hung out, vacuuming done, tea made, dishes washed....and I do believe I'll go out on the porch and get in some swing time. Tomorrow is to be rainy again. Must enjoy the spring-like weather while it's here, right?
Was gone most of the day, as we rode to Lincolnton. By the time I got home, turned around, then went to store, it was dark..now, here I am. My bones have sure been feeling the moisture in the air. So looks like Dixie and I will be camping indoors for the next few days. It was indeed a gorgeous day -:) Be safe, and keep your umbrellas handy -:)
A busy Saturday for me, as we just got back from Jersey yesterday about 5 and were out the door to meet friends by 6:30. Brought back subs as can't find any good ones down here. Had them yesterday - 1/2 - and will have the other half tonite for dinner. Have been busy doing everythig around the house today and still have to finish unpacking. Won't take the decorations down till the New Year's day. Still waiting to hear from his daughter. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Wendy

Happy day after Christmas. I hope yesterday was a good one for you and your family. We had a houseful of food, fun, and chaos and I always bask in that since it only happens a couple times a year. Today, I am breathing deeply and just doing what, if anything, I choose. So far I've divided up cookies and put some in the freezer. And I've washed dishes. That may be all I accomplish today, Maria. Cooled down for a start in the new year . We Took down all of the Christmas day decorations while it was still warm outside & the inside . All is packed away for another year .Want to wish you & yous a very happy & healthy new year . Keep warm with a hug.......George

It is a rainy Friday at my house but, since it's Friday, it's ALL good. We are waiting for Lowe's to arrive with our new clothes dryer. They should be here any minute now. Any minute. LOL Hope you have a terrific day, rain or shine!
