Good for you Darci, getting some outdoor time in. Up here it is near 0 with 100% humidity. Not the kind of weather for swinging in your swing. LOL -- wind is blowing from the north too. Usually means snow but don't think we will get any. Hope you have a real good Tuesday. Not too long till Christmas. Love and hugs, Moe
It's a new week and I hope it's a good one for us both. It's sure starting out well. Beautiful day here. Mid 60s and sunshine off and on. I've blown and swept off the porches and walkways, done laundry, vacuumed....must be the nice weather has inspired me. I'll take it when I get it. Have a great afternoon/evening, whatever it is you are up to today.
HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT NEW WEEK. WELL UPPER MAINE IS IN THE 40s WITH SOME RAIN NOT GOOD FOR DRIVEING TO NIGHT. AND YES AS YOU SEE I LIKE SNOWMEN. LOVE N HUGS WITH MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU ALWAYS MARGE
Good Morning Darci, sounds like you've been getting soggy weather like us. I'm over all the rain but we will dry out sooner or later You're ahead of me with the gift wrapping. I've wrapped a total of none. I have purchased gift bags if that counts. I am mostly done with shopping though as I do most of that online. I'm all about not having to stand in line with tired feet! Hope your day is good and that you have some sunshine back. love, Beth
Most of my friends have all but stopped send Christmas cards. For one thing, it has become very expensive what with the cost of cards and postage, and for another, when one gets to be in their 80s, it becomes more difficult to write. I have begun sending Christmas messages through email mostly or calling and wishing friends a Merry Christmas, which is nicer than sending cards really.
Hugs, Maria
Brrr, it's a chilly Tuesday for me. But very sunny and pretty. How is your weather today? I spent the morning writing Christmas cards and I believe I'll get them mailed at the post office Friday when we go for groceries. Each year it seems we give and receive fewer cards. Kind of sad, really. But times have changed and we must move along with the changes. Have a great afternoon/evening, Maria. I'll get my work done and then watch a Christmas movie tonight.
Darci, those birds want you to be quicker to feed them! HA!
It is beautiful here this morning but to turn cold by Wednesday. Don't like!
Put our Christmas things out Saturday, what few we use these days. Have gone from small table tree with permanent white lights on it but that we had to put lots of clear glass bulbs, chains, etc. on to our very pretty green ceramic tree that has colored lights on it and all we have to do is plug it in! HA! Easiest is best these days. With the things we do put out at Christmas, though, the LR is cheerful and very pretty, so I'm happy. Hugs to you, Maria
It is a beautiful Thursday for me, how about you Maria? Sunshine and perfect temps for nearly December. I have just refilled the bird feeders and while I was out there, the birds were just fussing at me. As if to say, "hey, lady, hurry up". Now they are happy once again and I get to be entertained by the birds and squirrels from my living room windows. Hope your day is going great. Our beloved weekend is almost here.
Wishing you a happy new week. Christmas is in the air! Well, Darc, our first family Christmas gathering is over already. Had a great time yesterday. Delicious food and great turnout : ) Have to get my monthly injection this afternoon. Maybe I will get started on some Christmas cards today. Maybe . . . because you know me - ha! I'm a master procrastinator! Hugs, Nancy
Have a really nice new week, Darci. We are expecting a cold front on Wednesday with some rain. I'll get out and about before that happens. Went to church this morning....good sermon, as usual. Now I'm off to do some reading....Have some Christmas stories to enjoy. Hugs, Nancy
It's a beautiful, sunny Sunday and we are hitting the 50's today! Have our first family Christmas today but decided to make a quick visit to the Hill and wish you a blessed Sunday. Hope Dave enjoyed the movie! I got to watch The Christmas Card again last night : ) Hugs, Nancy
Thank you so much, Darci!! I tend to pace when a game is that tight. I wore a hole in the hall rug. You couldn't make up our quarterbacks' story of the last two years. It's just MAGIC.♥ Big *hugs* and thx again!!!
What a gray, icky Sunday morning it is here. But I will enjoy an afternoon of football and relaxing and not give the weather a second thought. Hope you can relax today, too!
Wishing you a super Sunday, dear Darci. It's entirely too warm for December, but maybe lots of people need a break. If you're one... enjoy! Big *hugs* -di
You want soggy - we got soggy. Cloudy, dark and gloomy and very wet. Poked my head out and went right back in. I honestly can't remember a year like this where winter started so soon and just keeps going. However, it's nice and cosy on the Hill keeping in touch with good friends like you. Thank you for being there. Much love......
Morning, Got the Pop Carn ready, for the Christmas movie ? Enjoy, Have been some already on Hallmark channel, always nice stories, Have a great day in between the rain drops, Love & Hugs, Karen
