Paris, France.......... across the river from Charlie's house
Here we go...going to be a stay inside in pajamas all day Day. Might make a pot of soup. Cooked bbq today in slow cooker. Leftovers, but I'll want soup instead. This weather forecast is why I canceled my hair appointment. Hopefully she can work me back in before Thanksgiving...be safe.
Good afternoon, its a cool 58* here. Sorry I haven't been on here much this week. I've been cleaning closets and the cabinet under the sink. Have so many things that I don't use anymore. How are you? I know longer have the chest congetion, just a tickle in my throat now. Still coughing. I don't think its ever going to go away. The weather guy that I follow on Facebook says that Oklahoma is going to be in the 40's next week. That is to cold. Well enjoy the rest of your day and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Greetings. Serious case of Stockholm Syndrome. We are all in our private traps.clamped in them and none of us can ever get out. We scratch and we claw, but only at the air, only at each other. Sometimes we deliberately step into those traps. I was born in mine. I don't mind anymore. Of course, if I did, then we don't have a movie.
GOOD MORNING. There is a little wind out there but fortunately it is 38* where I was not too cold. The wind only affected me about the last three quarters of a mile. Heading to 50* later. Nothing planned for today, maybe church. Yesterday there was frost on the windows so I had to go out and warm the car up to be able to drive. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Looks like Thursday will be an all day rain event. Much colder too. It's been very pleasant here today..walked outside earlier to see how things were looking. Planning on getting my tulip bulbs in the ground next month. With the temps being so sporadic, feel it's safer to just wait a while. Of course, the squirrels will most likely dig them up..time will tell. Enjoy your week 🙂🍁🍂🙂
Hello Darci, hope your week has been good. We had an eventful weekend with a kitchen mishap...I left a potholder on a burner and didn't realize it was on low. After a half hour hubby came in and smelled the hot smell. Good Lord, what a mess! At least it did not ignite and I'm beyond thankful for that. Then I heard a hissing sound under my sink...hot water leak it turned out. Hubby has it fixed now and I never thought I'd be glad to wash dishes but here we are. Have a good week and enjoy your Fall weather!
Tuesday is here and Fall is still hanging around in Texas. I still get up before the sun comes up each day, how about you?
Just because it is Fall doesn't mean the same thing to us as it does to some of you. We are 75° and the days are beautiful. Perfect for sailing a super light Hydrofoil.
Yesterday I mowed the yard which mulched the grass, weeds, and leaves. Then while sitting on the patio, I saw a Mockingbird, a Blue Jay getting a drink of water, a Woodpecker leaving the birdbath, and a beautiful male cardinal checking out my plants.
Fall to us means no more 100's but we might get near 90° in November or even near Christmas. But Ole Man Winter will show up sometime in January or February.
I hope you are enjoying your days as much as I am enjoying each day that comes my way. Whether you have snow or rain, whether it is your most favorite weather or least favorite, share your smile and your love!
