It's a sunny day here and the temps are going up but still so cold out with it being a little breezy. Looking forward to the 60's that just may come this way next week! Hurray.
Enjoy the rest of the day whatever you have planned. Take care, Hugs Rhonda
Hello my dear friend… I hope things are well with you. I’m happy our temps are finally going up a bit this weekend. It’s been so cold but I shouldn’t complain to our friends in Canada! I hope things improve for you, too. We’ve been watching a lot of tennis and also looking forward to football playoffs on Sunday. Please be careful as Covid, the flu and a nasty stomach bug is going around. Sending big hugs to you! Love Augie
Glad too for the sunshine..had to move my car from driveway so the ice could melt, otherwise our mailman would have difficulty getting to the mailbox this afternoon. I've been meaning to start feeding the squirrels here. What do you give them?
My thankfulness today is that the weatherman says it will warm up this weekend to more normal temperatures. Like so many of us in the throes of Mother Nature's cold snap, I feel like I haven't been warm for days. I am looking forward to having 50* again! Enjoy your afternoon. Tomorrow's Friday!
I hope you are doing well and staying warm! Things are slowly thawing out here too and the kids went back to school. Will sure be nice having it warm up again. take care, Hugs,Rhonda
Back steps tell the story. I've been very careful navigating them.
View out back. The kettle is an old cast iron sugar kettle...used to make cane syrup back in the day.
We made a REAL snowman but should have made one sooner. It was hard to make one with the "crusty" snow.
There's a highway under there somewhere. lol. Thankfully traffic was minimal. Most folks had the good sense to stay home but there are the rednecks (US TOO) that will be out on four wheelers and such. haha.
Good Morning, sharing some snow photos. By the way, it still hasn't melted! I feel like I woke up in a Christmas card. We had about 4 and a half inches in all. My brother in law and his family are 20 miles north and they had 6 inches. We are all still in shock. The heat never cuts off. Hate to see the next light bill. Have a good Thursday with JB. My cats are totally freaked out by the now, btw.
Birdbath full of snow near the woods.
Hubby trekking through the snow to check things out front.
We got just a dusting of snow late yesterday.it started falling around 430 pm...lasting for several hours..of course, given the ground was already frozen, it made for quite a mess for early commuters this morning. Currently, 30 degrees. By Friday we should see 54..and mid next week, 60's. Quite a change indeed.
I think Beth got more than your area lol. I can't believe it!!! That's nice you will be having a warm up real soon. We would just love to see 32 here soon lol
It is a sunny, cold midweek for me. The sun is such a welcome sight, Lisa. The little bit of snow we got is melting quickly even though the temperature is just in the 20s F. Went out to refill my window bird feeder a bit ago. I'm enjoying seeing the many birds eating at our diner outside the front windows. Very entertaining. Bill the Squirrel and his girlfriend, Bernadette, have their own feeder and they are a treat to see, too. Hope your day is wonderful and you accomplish all you intend to.
The rich do not need admiration nor succor. Help the oppressed, which in these times means to come to the aid of society's marginalized. “Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.” Ecclesiastes 4:1 NLT
Wednesday is the middle of the week and the best day to share your heart with others.
Love is what life is all about, the greatest of all is Love. Put a smile on someone's face today by sharing your smile with them or doing something good for them.
After all, it is the little, fun things that make life so wonderful for them and for you too.
Besides, when you make others happy, it makes you forget your problems too!
Never miss an opportunity to share your heart overflowing with love with others.
This is where we are right now, today, make the most of it. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
