BLOGS: A blog, simply put, is something you have written, or written about.
We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

After being invited to join the challenge to write blogs through the alphabet, here I am. It has been a very busy summer for me, and I have a bit of catching up to do, so bear with me as I crank up my brain to meet this challenge. After all, many already know that I love to use words (lots of them) to communicate with friends (old and new) on this wonderful social network site. For the first eight years of my life, my family lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Simon Schwartz Grocery is gone, Wileys cleaners is gone, the 'Rent A TV' shop is gone. The Pottery Shoppe is gone, and the gas... Read More
We slept outside on starlit, summer nights when the house was unbearable—no air- conditioning back then, and it was definitely over 100 degrees most summer days. No doubt the crickets, spiders, and no telling what else, crawled over us all night lying on an old quilt spread out. Of course, my brother & I, and the cousins giggled ‘til much later than our regular bedtimes since we were out of earshot from the folks. The sun was bli... Read More
