Good Morning! This weather has been wonderful for reading. I love a really good book with a really happy ending.
We all know that along the way in life, there are ups and downs, and sharp turns that take us in a different direction. But where would we be now if we hadn't followed that new direction?
As you read you realize that in life, all of us have a story to tell. Have you thought about your story lately?
Have you shared your story with family and friends? Have your children and grandchildren learned a good life lesson from your story?
We are all very different, unique, and our stories are all different. Share the good and the bad because that is how we learn and get to where we are now.
How is your story coming along? One day, we will make it all the way through the book to The End.
Hello, yep it seems most of us are geting some form of precip this week and lots of cold. I guess it's truly time for it. It just began a light rain here and we are having the warmest temps of the week right now which is in the sixties. Our weekend was mostly quiet. We went to Hobby Lobby on Fri and got some new calendars as like the large ones that are easier to see. Hope your new week is good and you are keeping cozy with JB.
Hello Lisa. I hope you are not being effected by that cold snap that I saw predicted on the news. It’s difficult for me to imagine with our days hovering between the low 80’s to 100. It’s mostly a clear heat that is easy to live with. Went out to dinner Saturday evening to celebrate a Granddaughter’s birthday. I had Pork roast and Vegies with apple sauce that was very nice. My little fur babies will have their bi-monthly bath & clip this week that they enjoy.
I hope you are staying warm! It's a very cold day so it's been another inside day for sure.
Tomorrow will start out rainy but it shouldn't last long thankfully.
My daughters and I used to go up to Greenville shopping once in awhile when they still lived to home. They used to have A.C. Moore that we loved to go to but they closed about 4 years ago or so.
Enjoy the day and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Hugs,Rhonda
I received a New Years card from you.. Was surprised because I never send cards for New Years.. Oh yeah, and I seen that you had a nice note written in it too! You know, I was just doing some trivia questions and I came across one that is quite interesting to me.. I seen that Frank Sinatra was buried with a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey, a pack of Camel cigarettes, a zippo lighter and a dollar's worth of dimes (just incase he needed to use the pay phone).. Isn't that hillarious? No pay phones around anymore.. He often referred to Jack Daniels as the 'nectar of the gods'! Ole Frank sure was a smooth talker snd singer.. I wish he was still out there crooning away somewhere.. I'm trying to picture all this stuff in his casket
Happy cold and beautiful Saturday! At least it is for me. No snow here (per usual) but it is a pretty day. Filled up my window bird feeder and cleared the front porch of sweet gum cones. The breeze is quite brisk. How is your day? I hope it's a good one and you find time to do something enjoyable.
Hello my dear friend… Many of you are about to have a nasty snow event! Take care and be ready. This one isn’t going to affect NE Pennsylvania very much. Going to visit our g-daughters Sunday and take their presents. Illness is finally out of their house. Wishing you a good weekend ❤️
And if old man winter avoids you, you're probably thankful:) But, I hope you get some snow to enjoy its beauty, Lisa & Jellybean. I'm so glad that boy has figured out houses are comfy: warm in winter; cool in summer. Stay snuggly... an arctic blast is coming:) Happy Weekend, you two!
In this new year, it is a new day. I am positive that the sinus infections we have both had are much better.
Don't you hate when you just can't get warm and your hubby fixes this nasty tasting stuff for you to drink?
Just drink it he says... and I did. But then he was sick for days before I caught it from him.
It doesn't matter that I have given him almost as many pills as I have taken and I got better much faster than he did. Cayenne, lemon and everything else in the house has been taken.
Yesterday, we even ate a hamburger. First real meal in days. When I crave a hamburger, which I do almost every day, you know things are looking up.
So today, Caturday, the first one of 2025, we have hope and positivity that we will survive whatever this year throws at us. I think a very cold winter blast will be next.
Hi Lisa. You have the cutest winter cat avatar! It's delightful. Jellybean appears to have made himself at home in your home. He's making an effort to let you know when he wants to eat....It looks like he's adopted you as his human.
