Winter is Over   I dug deep in this winter as I pulled out my crocheted covers and soft blankets. My books were dusted off and arranged carefully on many side tables. The cabinets were full of hot chocolate mix and a steaming pot of soup boiled on the stove. I moved from window to window looking and longing for the first snow flake. Time came and went with only a few dustings of snow. Finally, our one deep snow arrived in its entire white angelic splendor. I snuggled beneath my blanket... Read More

EMOM'S MOUNTAIN NEWS

WELCOME HOME, DEAR HEARTS, WELCOME HOME. Get out here on the porch and grab a seat... get comfy. Little cloudy maybe but it IS a little warmer than it has been. Got into the low 80's today... and a nice breeze out of the west.

However, DDB'... Read More

Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home!

Make yourselves to home. Nice clear nite. So very quiet outside and a really good time of day to have some hot chocolate with mallows. NO CALORIES! Would these lovely green eyes lie or pull your leg???? Oh yeah, in a New York Minute! lololol

Guess who is back on midnites again? Listening to Celtic musics. I was invited to join a very interesting, to me, group. The Circle of... Read More

Don't Try To Mess With My Head
Posted On 04/04/2013 16:17:54 by oldblueeyes99
A productive day today. I went to my primary Dr. for the annual checkup and passed with flying colors. He asked me the list of questions that they go through and asked if I had any trouble remembering things and I said "of course I do...I'm 82".He grinned and asked if it ever got out of hand and I just shook my head no. I said even my kids have "senior moments". Then he said he was going to tell me 3  words and would come back to them after a few moments. The words were  "table, apple,... Read More
